Long story..... buckle up. I am a DIY kind of guy. Bought my daughter some bass off of Amazon for Christmas. Super basic set up I found. Amp, loaded sub box, and wire kit. Wasn't looking to shake the earth just add some bump. Bought some kicker stuff and installed it her car. Was having trouble with the line output converter portion of the install. What I did was shutting down the cars factory amp. Before I fried her car threw my hands up and sent her to a professional shop. Mind you I sent my DAUGHTER to the shop with a problem she knew nothing about other than her dad gave up and needs some help. Te'Vonn was helping her with the minimal information I sent her with. I sent her with a text message explaining the situation and I just needed it fixed. I work in a body shop and cell signal is nonexistent. She got a hold of me I spoke with Te'Vonn about the situation on the phone. What I did and what the I thought the problem was. Within 15 minutes him and the techs had her up and running. The line output converter I bought was junk out the box. Unfortunately the subwoofer I bought was also junk out the box. He grabbed a stocked box off the floor and threw it in the trunk to make sure the equipment I installed was the original problem. Im sure he's been down this road a thousand times. People coming in with NIGHTMARE "My friend or family" installs. He actually complimented my install of the faulty equipment. Te'Vonn offered to sell her a sub box package that got her bumping. ZERO pressure. Explained to her the situation. Dad could send this equipment back to Jeff Bezos orrrrrr He could sell her thier know good stuff and have her done today. I cant thank them enough for saving me hours of head scratching. His reccomended sub package sounds way better than the junk I bought off the interwebs. Read moreNot happy at all I got windows tinted there I got radio systems installed. So last yr I got a drop down DVD player in my Lincoln navigator I paid over a $1,000 just for the DVD plus's installation it won't turn on at all so I called and they told me bring it back an the tech said he checked all the wires was good an he rest it or troubleshoot or something an he said it came on 10\10 . And told me if it happen again to call back an they will see what they can do, so I call the very next day an explain it was doing the same thing so he said he will talk to the tech who looked at the DVD player an they will call back.... Well... 2 weeks go by and nothing so I decided to call back an he says well we can just upgrade the DVD but I cover the charge of everything, I asked if I do that what happens when an if this happen again he said well nots just like a cell phone... No, its my truck I don't expect to pay $1000 and you tell me to buy a new one from us an if it happen again just buy another in the same pattern... Then he tells me well we dont deal with plant audio anymore... That is crazy to me will definitely not be going back because they don't stand by there work to the point you tell me its nothing wrong with it except the fact... IT DOESN'T...
Read moreFirst I want to say that I got a remote starter installed and it works fine. When I picked my vehicle up and drove off I realized my climate control system was not working correctly. I called exotic the next day and told them the problem. I was basically told they didn't think they caused the problem but they would have the installer call me back in about 15 minutes. After waiting a few hours no return call but I called and left a voicemail. Still no return call so I did a little online research and found out that a wire had not been reconnected. So I pulled the panel down and reconnected and fixed the problem. So I'm just very disappointed in the after sale support. I got none.
