Triangle Stop Food Stores — Local services in Saluda

Walked up to the counter to purchase a drink and there were several offensive pro Trump signs posted at the register. It was not very welcoming and in poor taste. I asked the cashier what that was about and she said her manager put them there. I asked about the owner and she said the owner allowed the manager to do this. I politely put down my drink that I was about to purchase and walked at the door. One of the employees yelled crybaby at me as I walked out. Not a good way to be inclusive of the community you serve.

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to 2 men that made life a little easier the day Helene struck WNC. One is the manager that stayed on duty for probably 16 hours or more! The store had a generator & is the reason they were open. I was stranded there from 4-10 pm waiting & praying that the gas pumps would start up; along with 50 other people traveling. Matthew & Tom were friendly & patient & worked hard to make sure the store was clean & well stocked & the bathrooms were nice too! They even made me a pizza in the middle...

Stopped by for a quick lunch break, got hot dogs and they were cold. Got a grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken wasn't grilled well, it looked pale af, the lettuce looked like leftover, got cheese sticks and fries and those were probably the only things that tasted right but not worth ordering food off their bar.
