First time I’ve ever gone to an event like this. Highly highly recommend it, it’s not very often you get to see something this unique in Illinois. Can’t forget the fact that admission is only $15, you can easily be here 4+ hours on a Friday night and never get bored! Haven’t had a negative experience with staff or any of the viewers in the audience the few times I’ve been here, in fact the people have been very friendly!

I highly suggest bringing earplugs/hearing protection and some sort of eye protection (sunglasses at the least) if this is your first time coming here, especially for kids and seniors. You might not need it but always good to have it just in case.

Forgot to mention this establishment is entirely cash only so make sure you come prepared for the ticket cost and any food/drinks you plan...

Great place to enjoy the races. I would suggest having more supplies prepared for concessions, constantly having to wait for food items out of stock due to running out and having to wait on things to heat up. The lines were excessive to wait. I understood why once I got to the window and placed my order. Everyone running around, not knowing what they had in stock or ready and having to check and see. A bit disorganized. Also, everything is cash only, which is ok, but nothing is posted, so people know. There was supposedly an atm on the premises that didn't work.
