LoneStar plumbing is less than 1 star. Let me begin my experience with them. First, LoneStar plumbing was the only company American home shield contract with. I had a slab water leak. First I called 3D plumbing and they said it was a hot water leak. The next day LoneStar plumbing arrived and I told them that 3D plumbing said it was a hot water leak. They performed their assessment and said it was a cold water leak. I have 2 large holes in my Sheetrock in the laundry room, 2 large holes in front bathroom, and 1 large hole above water heater and 1 huge hole in my garage. 1 huge hole outside where they busted the brick and 1 huge hole outside siding. They want to tear out the bath tub because they could not find the cold water leak. They dig a huge hole in my yard and reroute my water through the attic which decrease the water pressure. When they told me they had to tear out the tub, I told them I needed a second opinion. I called Black plumbing next. They came out and immediately found the hot water leak. They had to cut one small hole in the sheet rock and it was fixed within one hour. I called LoneStar plumbing and showed them the report and invoice from Black plumbing. At first, Paul was sincere and stated they will fix all the sheet rock and the damage outside. Now, it’s been 14 months and no repairs done on the damage on the inside. The owner and Paul ignore our calls. I have proof with text messages and emails as well as the report from Black plumbing and 3D plumbing. I plan to report them to BBB. Very...
Read moreWas great until it wasn't. Got a new pool installed by them. The guys were great during the project. Then the project was done. The equipment comes with a "3 year parts and service warranty" my pool was done around August 2023. So only got to use it a hand full of times. Starting this spring April ish tried to use the hot tub and it wasn't heating. Called LoneStar no response. Called probably once a week for 4 to 5 weeks with nobody coming out to fix it. Completely ignored. I wasnt even a Karen about it. I was super nice and inderstanding. I get it they are busy but dang dont just completely ignore me. Finally looked up the error online. Purched the $100 part myself and fixed it myself. After being told by the office lady. "Well he's in charge of all pool stuff so nobody can do anything without his say" "hes out of town until wednesday, i get it ill text them and have someone come out" in other words. Get effed. He's not the one who installed my pool his workers were. So it's not like he couldn't have sent someone out to take a look and fix it. Oh wait, he said he did. But they entered my backyard property without coming to the door or telling me they were coming. And didn't fix it. Just ignored it. I was a great customer for them. And this is they way they treat you after paying thousands of dollars to their company. BBB...
Read moreThe plumber I'd used for many years retired and I was hesitant in calling another plumber. I called Lone Star out to install a bathroom faucet on a new granite bathroom vanity. First of all the receptionist at Lone Star was the friendliest and most helpful I've ever dealt with. A plumber named Marcus came out and not only removed the old sink but blew out and cleaned the sink trap, he took extra steps in installing the sink and we are thrilled with the job, no problems. Before contacting Lone Star I contacted a well known plumbing company between San Angelo and Grape Creek to install a kitchen faucet, although the job was well done the plumber instructed the "helper trainee" to do the installation thereby taking over TWO HOURS at a cost of over $200.00. If the plumber had done the job instead of the trainee it could have been done in an hour. I called the company about the "trainee" doing the job and the receptionist and owner were so hateful I found it hard to believe they dealt with the public. When I have another plumbing problem I will feel confident in calling Lone Star and I will...
