I am a senior citizen and this is one of the top companies I have ever dealt with!! I can not rave any more about a company!! Jericho came out and gave me a free estimate. Our spa had been out of commission for about five years. The heater had rusted out and everything else was in poor condition. Several companies came out and said they wouldn't even bother with this work. Finally, one company recommended Backyard Pool & Spa Service. They said Jericho was a magician and if anyone could fix the spa it was him. Well, they were right. He came out and gave a free estimate and said he could do the job. Also, he noticed a gas smell and conscientiously just fixed turned off the gas valve that we didn't realize was open. Jericho worked us in immediately to his schedule even though he had a full workload already. Well, he was a magician, our spa is now working thanks to the efforts of Jericho and his children. His work was simply outstanding!! My wife is so thrilled to get the spa back, especially after such a tough 2020. Jericho was always ready to help and patiently explain our options. My unreliable pool pump decided to stop working the day before NYE. For the prior month, I manually primed the pump every day, while my regular pool service company reached out to distributors for a replacement with no success. I started the daunting task searching online reading reviews of pool service companies and the feedback on Backyard Pool & Spa got my attention. Keep in mind this was 4 PM Friday before New Year’s Eve. I submitted a service request believing with any luck, I’d hear back on Monday. 20 minutes later, I received a response from the owner Jericho asking for more details and photos of my equipment. After I replied to his request, Jericho followed up his recommendation along with a proposal. Still in a state of ecstatic disbelief, I asked if I paid the deposit today what would be the earliest he could do the install. He gave me 2 dates, one of them being the next Tuesday morning. The deposit was completed.

Jericho punctuality showed up Tuesday texting me upon his arrival. The new Pentair replacement was completed under 2 hours and he took time at the end going through all the Pentair features in setting up the timer with the variable speeds.

Highly recommend!! We’ve been using Backyard Pools for 4 years and have been very happy. We have a decades old pool surface with mostly decades old equipment, yet our water is always sparkling and I credit their service! They are super reliable with a low turnover of techs. Not once has a service day been missed. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Our pool filter is cleaned on schedule, and we’ve had some minor repairs to aging pool equipment, including installing a new pump - prices are very reasonable. I’ve called and/or emailed with a very few minor issues and have always received a prompt reply with issue resolved immediately.
