Unfortunately, I am addicted to Intelligent Blends' line of Mauds' coffee, especially the samplers. The consistent quality and changing of flavors/strengths have me hooked, and I will always spend a little extra on my personal favorites. Not to mention, just the plain simplicity of The Keurig single serve platform that takes 1.5 minutes to achieve the best cup of coffee is a no-brainer.
However, as I appreciate the recyclable pod model, I'm pretty sure this is not the reason for most customers purchasing the Maud's line of pods; it is, as I explained earlier. If Intelligent Blends truly wants to make their product recyclable, which I doubt many users are actually recycling, I ask IB this: What about a paper pod? I know there are a lot of explanations both ways. I don't want anyone to get into a tizzy (especially these days; I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, beliefs, etc.), but an actual conversation about perfecting the product. This is, BTW, how the company got started, ya know. I'm curious to hear from the designers of this product their answer to the question: Why not go a step further? Paper is biodegradable, and plastic is a pain; paper is also replenishable (?) but may not hold the quality ( I get it). Think about the reality of your product instead of the intention. What are people who want a quick cup of coffee because they don't have the time to make a traditional pot, actually going to do with that plastic pod? We all know 'cause we've all done it. Me too. Is there a better way? ...
Read moreOrdered K-cup tea on December 23, 2016. Received email that order was shipped via USPS on December 26th. It is now January 16, 2017, and I have still not received my order. Sent 2 emails to company asking them to find the package, send me a replacement order via USPS or another RELIABLE shipping company or refund my money. Never received a response. Contacted PayPal and filed a claim. All of a sudden they are sending me tracking information---package has been sitting in Elizabeth, New Jersey for 2 weeks. They do not ship via USPS---they use a very cheap, very unreliable shipping company called "Newgistics", which does not transfer shipments to USPS until there are enough packages to make it worth it for them to transport to the USPS facility. On Intelligent Blends website, however, they claimed to ship via USPS----total lie. Almost a month for a box of tea is RIDICULOUS. I will never do business with this company again and I will discourage others from ordering from them as well. This company is...
Read moreCoffee is good but customer service is severely lacking. Ordered a box of 100 breakfast blend pods and they were decent. I was running out and wanted to try other flavors. So I ordered two sample/variety boxes on 11/26. After emailing back and forth my package finally arrived on 12/19, a full 23 days later. I could have driven to California and back to pick up the coffee pods during that time period. Then their customer service representatives refuse to take the responsibility want to blame it on the carriers? I know Fedex and UPS are inundated with packages this time of year, but none of my other online shopping took 23 days to deliver. Don't bother to call them, no one answers their phone or calls you back. I won't be buying from Intelligent Blends again. UPDATE: The variety pack I wanted over 3 weeks to receive only has 6 of the 8 varieties it was supposed to come...
