Brilliant! 5 Star Fun! Well folks. Let me tell you. On a recent trip to San Diego from Phoenix, we did Moriarty's Manor after doing the Black and White Cafe last year at MindFox Escape Rooms. What a delight! From start to finish, we had an excellent experience. I had been in constant email contact with Honeylyn, and I feel that we are now old friends! She and her family take the escape room business to a whole new level. We also met Dana and Darwin, 2 other members of this family business, who were just as nice and happy. Nothing but smiles and fun the moment we entered. So enthusiastic and welcoming. Even the “rules” had a touch of humor and puns that kept us laughing. Moriarty's Manor was an incredible room, full of many challenges to keep our brains challenged. The Black and White Cafe was a combination of challenges with both mental and physical games. Both extremely well decorated and realistic. The Moriarty room was appropriately dim, and the Cafe room had plenty of light and workspace and both were clutter free. These games are suitable for ALL ages and would be perfect for a family with kids and adults. We are all over the age of 65 and loved it! My 90 year old brother-in-law said the Moriarty room was "very impressive" and is still talking about it. These rooms would also make a great date night or birthday experience. And these rooms would also make a perfect holiday treat! I have personally done over 190 escape rooms, and I tell you, it is really rare to have rooms that make it into my top 10, but both of these rooms did it! And talk about clean! You can tell that this business takes sanitation very seriously. Everything is spic and span and clean as a whistle. Sometimes during this challenging time, it is hard to find a safe, clean, fun outing to do, but this is one you can count on. I highly recommend this room and business!

Finally made it to the Black & White Cafe! It’s just as adorable and fun as everyone says it is đŸ„° It’s such a simple theme but they take it to the max - it really did feel like it was a little cafe that you were responsible for! Lots of locks but the puzzles were so in-theme and physically interactive I didn’t mind at all. Even though they say it was geared toward beginners and introducing newbies to the world of escape rooms, even as someone who’s done 50+ rooms, I felt the puzzles had refreshing twists to them. Most importantly, nothing felt like it was such a huge leap of logic that I felt like it required a GM’s help to finish, but weren’t so easy that experienced escapers would finish too quickly. Great balance. Absolutely two thumbs up - I can’t believe the creators made this after just playing 15 escape rooms themselves! đŸ˜±

An incredible experience! We did Moriarty Manor, and it’s far and away the highest quality escape room any of us have ever experienced. It was a *real tight* escape for us (1 minute 34 seconds remaining). Victoria was a lovely game master and it was so fun talking with her afterwards about her/our experiences. There’s a lot of variety in the puzzles we had to tackle, and so different people were drawn to different tasks. We accidentally skipped a step
but it was incredible, start to finish. Highly recommend, and we’ll be back to try the other puzzles. Edit: We came back a second time for the Black and White Cafe, and again had an incredible time! Thanks again to Victoria and the team at Mindfox for making some stellar escape rooms, we look forward to what else they make in the future!

We had a fabulous game experience today at MindFox Games. The whole process from start to finish was a fabulous. Booking is extremely easy online. We did both escape rooms- Black and White Cafe and Moriarty's Manor back to back in a single day, and they even offered us snacks and water in between! Our gamemaster Joyce was great, and we appreciated that she had the forethought to ask if we wanted nudges or to ask for hints. They do have audio/visual into the rooms so they can hear you puzzle things out and will absolutely help you if you get stuck. Hints are unlimited, and I love games like that because let's be honest, we really just want to have fun and it's not that serious. They even let us start our second game early so we didn't have to wait until the official time to start.

First, Black and White Cafe is such a unique room. It wasn't "easy" at all like I expected, and the puzzles and their creativity was really quite fun. There is little technology, but everything worked as it was supposed to. We're an experienced group; however, I think that this would be great beginner escape room for those who haven't been or are more casual. I think that our size was perfect and any more would have felt crowded. Group Size 4. Hints: 0. Rating 5/5.

Second, Moriarty's Manor was so fun. The theme was great, and the puzzles were challenging, but logical. Everyone had something to do, and we managed to get through with 5 minutes to spare. There was such entertainment value in these puzzles, and we really did have to work together to solve some. Group Size 4. Hints: 1. Rating 5/5.

We would highly recommend Mindfox Games to everyone and will happily be back if they have any new games in the future! As a team/family, we've done many escape rooms, and these ones are easily ranked...

We loved the experience so much, we did both of their rooms back to back (well, within a week). Right when you walk in, their board/screen has a welcoming message for your party, which I found unique and personal because it almost felt like you were checking into a fancy restaurant or something like that. Seems kind of cheesy, but it was such a small touch, but made the experience more personal than other escape rooms that would just check you in, and have you wait in a corner.

Both of the game masters, Joyce and Isabella, were very helpful with their hints on both games, and didn’t try make it obvious with their hints. They both asked if your party would like hints when they notice you are stuck on a puzzle, or only when the party wants/asks for a hint. We chose to have hints only when we ask or raise our hands to the camera.

The Black and White Cafe was a unique concept, as the room was literally all black and white. They had very impressive puzzles and they were challenging. Our daughters enjoyed this room, especially since they had a theme of “the Cafe” they had items related to baking goods. Moriarty’s Manor was more challenging. All of the puzzles were well thought out, and some puzzles were unique (some we have never seen at other escape rooms). I’d probably recommend this room with a party of at least 4 people. It would be hard to do with just 2 or like a date night.

They mentioned a third room hopefully by the end of 2024, or early 2025. When that game is released, we will...
