Mineral Springs Parking — Local services in San Jose

This is the parking lot leading to Historic Mineral Springs. This valley was abundant with mineral springs so in the late 19th century through 1930, the spring water were routed into bathtubs or drinking fountains. A very unique park with a lot to offer for all generations. You can do an easy hike with some elevation or climb to the top of the hill for great views. The creek is beautiful, especially with the fall colors. They have a youth center, areas to picnic, a playground and many benches to rest. Cost of parking is $6 each car for the whole day (there is no hourly parking system). On holidays, it goes up to $10. Bit expensive IMHO, but a good parking spot for doing the Alum Rock South Rim trail as it's in the trail-head for the same.
