I went to Nob Hill today for the first time for an Instacart order and I’m extremely upset with the customer service. An older lady who works in the deli department was being extremely rude to me. My first encounter with her was when I asked if they had some specific ribs in stock for my customer off the bat she was telling me no no whatever we have is out there. Which is fine I understand however when I went to go see what they had and scanned the item with my phone it said it was the wrong item so I went back to ask again if these were the only ribs they had. They told me yes. I ended up letting my customer know that they did not have the ribs they wanted but had the already cooked option in the deli. The customer told me to get them those so I did that. I ended up taking them back to the employee to ask for a label because I thought that’s what you had to do. However they informed me that no that nob hill just places it at register and it gets weighed and automatically put into the system but for instacart i cannot do this I need a label to scan. I ended up speaking to one of the managers didn’t get her name but she was very nice and helpful. She told to go back to deli and ask them to create a label which I did and that same lady was rude again and was like no no we don’t do that go over there so I went back once again. Where the manager saw me walking back and informed the lady to please create me a label how they do for every other hot item they sell. The lady in front of my face was like oh so this how we do it now? The manager said no it’s just for instacart they need a label to scan not sure what the lady said after but she did say well now they are going to be asking me to be do this all the time. The manager said instacart doesn’t do this to often. Which for me is extremely rude to say what’s the issue which creating a label ? Like really this lady was making it seem like it was such a hassle to create this label for me which by the way after all the back and forth and waiting took less than 3 seconds. Anywho, for my first time at Nob hill EVER it was...
Read moreIt was a dark covid night. I pulled up slowly to a nearly empty parking lot. It was 945pm. It was one of those nights where it wasn't cold, but it wasn't hot. It was kind of like a sensation of a lukewarm bath. I get out of my 500,000 dollar sports car and to my surprise the door opened when I walked up to it. I was greeted by a man who looked like he was half dwarf, half elf, and half Puerto Rican. He smelled pungent as if he had just cleaned the restroom. Which is interesting to me since the restrooms are closed. Anyways, I found everything I needed and if it wasn't for Nob Hill, this dashing Young Man would have had nowhere to go walk around and buy absolutely nothing. I definitely recommend the Guch Le le pluoeu. Which is something where they mix a blueberry with an imp. To die for. Absolutely.. to die for. I give it two big toes up. ..... I have been given the distinguished privilege only offered to the elite few such as myself. Yes, I have been asked to update my review. So I will try to.keep it like Froto Baggins....short.. oh lord I crack.me up. So here's my update.... "It's nice". Whew, that was hard. See...
Read moreI love, love, love this store. The environment is crisp and refreshing. I really enjoy shopping. I am particular about my meat. They have the best meat. The prices are good as well. This store is posh. You can find items that are unique as well as everyday items. The deli has great dishes. One of my favorite is the Curry Chicken salad. The food is always fresh. The cakes are wonderful and competitively priced. I like the produce section and it is really inviting. I must say I purchased Bok Choy at the store and paid slightly more than I normally do. The taste was distinctive, the smell was fresh and the taste was beyond compare. Also, I had some left in the refrigerator for a few days and it did not brown, or disintegrate. Every time I go to Nob Hill I find something new. It is not just a grocery store but an...
