Phở La — Restaurant in San Jose

For the last 3 months I have been living in Saigon, Vietnam. When I found this Pho place in passing, I was thoroughly impressed by the selection they offer for food. Not only is their pho selection great they have other dishes like Hu tieu, Banh Mi, and my personal favorite, Com Chien Ga.

So I wasn’t super hungry so I tried to stay away from my usual Com Chien Ga (Viet Style Chicken Fried Rice)

So I got Chicken Pho medium size (Pho Ga) and Shrimp Spring Rolls (Gỏi cuốn).

Imagine my shock when the portion was beyond what I expected, mind you I’m coming fresh off the boat 4 days ago from Vietnam.

This place is a bit off the beaten place and a little hard to spot, even if you're parked right in front. It's one of the better pho places near my company. I liked the Pho and always get the standard #1. You know, the one with all them beef in it. This is my litmus test and they passed the taste test.

The guy in the front at the register was extremely rude and rushing. They are scamming people here on their drinks and will charge you full price even if you order without boba. After mentioning to them why are they charging full price for it without boba they took off a $1.75. I’ve been coming here for a while now and I have no just realized it even after buying more than 10 drinks.
