While the owners were reluctant to take pictures of their merchandise in the store I was able to take us some pictures of the Antiques and capture some of the history in their town. This shop has everything from a gift shop to a liquor store to a general store. I would recommend checking this place out when visiting Cuchara.

The cashier was great to chat with. Went in to just browse and came out with 3 gems....so I thought. Brought my rocks home to clean and 2 of my rocks had been dipped in some sort of dye. Granted they weren't expensive but why? WHY???

The photo shows Dakota Dukes, which has groceries and gifts. The Cuchara Country Store quit selling groceries in 2013. They sell gifts, Dog Bar shirts, candy, art photography and there is a liquor store connected. Nice folks, same owner and staff as the world famous Dog Bar and Grill, which is...
