The Local Jeweler — Local services in San Tan Valley

Both Jennifer and Murat welcomed my fiancée and I into the store and spoke with us like we were family. I had originally called them and inquired about an insurance appraisal on an heirloom ring and had a two day turnaround along with the paperwork to back it up. I was greeted by name (from our phone call earlier) and was able to voice any and all concerns with Jennifer- I even had a ring I wasn't sure about appraising and got weigh-in so as to not "waste my money" on having it appraised.

Their store is beautiful, their collection isn't your typical jeweler's and there is even a dedicated drawer to all the hand-made pieces by Murat so each piece is a 1 of 1. You can tell there is both great pride and craft displayed in the store and in the workers.

Honestly, if I didn't have a family jeweler in California I'd feel just as welcome here and would work with them for the creation of my wedding bands. I know without a doubt that if I ever need different selections of jewelry or any service that I'll be visiting them both again. I've been wanting to have my engagement and wedding rings reset for quite some time now but always hesitated because I wasn't sure who I could trust and only had a very rough idea of what I wanted the finished product to look like. A friend recommended The Local Jeweler so we went in to talk to them. Both Jennifer and Murat were very friendly and had some great ideas. I wanted to use my original band (for sentimental reasons) but redesign it. After spending a few minutes with Murat, I felt very comfortable that he would come up with the perfect design. He even did a quick sketch to confirm our ideas. Today we were able pick up my completed ring. They handed the box to my husband for a first look and he said it was beautiful and exceeded his expectations. I almost cried when I saw the ring for the first time. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! I absolutely love my new custom-designed ring!!! I would highly recommend these folks to anyone...

I was really happy to see The Local Jeweler open in our area! I stopped in to have a ring repaired, and I was so impressed. It was done quickly, the quality is amazing—you’d never know it was even repaired—and the price was very reasonable.

While I was there, I had a great chat with Murat about redesigning my wedding set. It’s been a combination of pieces for years and has gotten a little tight. He had some really thoughtful ideas, and I’m genuinely excited to see how it turns out. I’ll be going back in a couple of weeks to get started!
