They had a grand opening and free food nothing on the menu from 4pm-5pm I showed up at 450 and got in line before 5 and the lady was so rude and was practically yelling that I wasn’t in line by 5 but I was and even have proof. I love taco spot but will Never come back to the San tan valley location As the worker with the glasses was so rude. She could have been polite and even took in to consideration I was in line in time but she was very snobby and shunned anyone away that was in line before five, but she is saying they weren’t. I will post a picture where I text that the lady in front of me was the last one to get free food and you will see that that was before 5 o’clock do better Santan Valley taco spot

The fam and I decided to check out The Taco Spot San Tan. The cashier mentioned it would be about a 35-minute wait for 6 tacos, which already felt a bit long. Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it—the tacos were mediocre at best and nothing really stood out as “gourmet” despite the higher prices. I’m mean seriously $4 for a handful of chips. Overall, it just wasn’t worth the time or cost. Personally, I’d rather grab tacos at one of the local spots (even the Home Depot parking lot taco stand) where the wait is under 5 minutes and the food tastes better. This was our first and last visit

To begin, walking in, the store was clean and looks beautiful. Next, the staff was super friendly, helpful and respectful when clearing up any confusion we had with their rewards system. Lastly but most definitely not the least, the food was absolutely delicious, we got 2 carne asada tacos, birria ramen and a birria taco. All of them were cooked to perfection and tasted even better with the limes they provide on the side. (We messed up all the food before we thought of taking a picture). Will definitely be coming back.

The food was actually great, but the management of this place is so horrible that going back is out of the question. Basically, don't go here unless you have a LOT of time to wait and are fine with substitutions, because they are out of so much stuff.

Rant for the managers/owner - I ordered my food (1 taco combo and a bean burrito) online and showed up to get my food about 45 minutes later, which was 15 minutes after the ETA for it to be ready, and sat in the drive through for about 5 minutes before someone came over to signal to me that it was closed, since there wasn't a sign. When I went in I was told they were finishing my order up, which was fine, I saw a lot of people waiting and figured they got a rush... No. There was no food coming out. I ended up standing there for 40 minutes and during that time a 2 taco place came out and a small to go order (like 1 burrito size) is all that came out during that 40 minutes. Every person that came in and had a to-go order with chicken was told they were out of chicken, which obviously hadn't been updated on the website or even communicated to them after they ordered, and their food hadn't been started yet because of the chicken. So the lobby is just getting more and more filled with annoyed people. You only have 2 or 3 sodas available right now and the rest say out of order. I didn't see 1 adult in there. You've got all of these messes that are clearly created by poor management and yet, you've got teenagers in there trying to navigate through them with nobody steering the ship. It gives me the absolute ick when I see young kids taking the heat for issues that you know they have no control over instead of the people...

I mean where do I even start. Oh, I know: the smell. It smells like their sewage system exploded. I couldn't get the stupid taste of human feces out of my mouth for 10 minutes after leaving. Made me appreciate Queen Creek's horrible air.

Then there's the actual service. I mean we ordered at 7:05 pm and our food did not come out until almost 8:10. Not to mention they were serving others DINE-IN meals before us EVEN THOUGH they ordered after us. We were about ready to leave before they called our name. Staff was nice, though.

Now the food. Oh boy was this not a surprise. After the service and atmosphere we had just experienced (we already vowed never to give them our money again), I think it ruined the food. It was plain. It tasted like they forgot to add salt on the grocery list to Costco. It did not taste fresh. I wonder if they just let it sitting on the counter for that hour we waited. We got street tacos. Way overpriced. Rice was bland and dry. Guacamole tasted like tomatoes, like it had been store-bought. Chips had no salt. Tacos were dry and overpriced. "Hot sauce" wasn't even spicy. ALSO, NO TACO TUESDAY DEAL! What is up with that. Y'all are the TacoSpot and you don't have a Taco Tuesday sale? Come on.

I respect the hustle from these two guys, I really do. I see the vision. This place has so much potential and the franchise already has multiple locations so it shows that it is successful. I just don't think this location was ready to open. It's only been less than a week since it opened, so I really hope it...

This was the absolute worst experience! We waited over an hour for a cheese quesadilla, a 3 taco/drink combo, a 2 taco/ramen combo, 2 bean burritos, a vampiro, and a birria burrito. Not only is the wait absolutely ridiculous, the order was wrong. Salsa spilled out in the bag, one bean burrito was in edible and just completely fell apart (I think because they attempt to crisp them on the same grill the birria tacos are being made). The birria ramen is a joke. They use tapatio ramen (cases stacked jn the dining room) and yo call this “birria” is a joke! To call anything here birria is a joke! They ran out of ice, napkins, forks, tables were dirty and the music was way too loud. You could barely hear when they call your name. The parking lot is nonexistent. For the prices they charge I not only expected good authentic birria but way better quality food than what they are putting out. This is not a matter of “growing pains” of a new business, this is not knowing what you’re doing, having a poor business model, and terrible...
