Disappointed with the service and lack of expertise. I called for a certified GE technician to diagnose a leak on the bottom left side of my GE dishwasher door. When the technician arrived around 2:40 PM, I explained the issue and the steps I had already taken to troubleshoot it. Within 20 minutes, he gave up and charged me a $140 mandatory service fee—which I don’t take issue with. What I do take issue with is the lack of effort and the technician’s perceived knowledge of the problem / problem solving. He claimed the unit wasn’t level when he tried to slide it back in, which supposedly pinched the door gasket and caused the leak. However, he pointed to the tub gasket—not the door gasket—and made no effort to inspect the door itself. I asked why, if the gasket was pinched, the leak only occurred on the left side and not the right, where the same indentation exists. He had no answer and didn’t attempt further diagnostics. He didn’t remove the door, inspect the door gasket, or explore any other potential causes. After doing my own research—including watching repair videos—I removed the door and discovered that the door gasket had failed and was missing a piece. Read moreI really love CC Appliance .. they have been coming to my house for many years and always satisfied . My only source of disappointment is this. In July 6 th they came out to diagnose an ice maker . We paid the $668.00 for service and repairs. We were told 2 weeks. Yesterday I called to follow up and was told the parts had just arrived , but service not available until 8/15. This is a long time to hold on to a customers money and my suggestion would be to pre book follow up or allow in the schedule for follow up appointments.

Read moreThe service tech , Dan, was very professional. He arrived on time, with tools that he needed. After he had completed a thorough assessment, he walked me through what was wrong with the washer machine. It wasn't great news but based on his clear explanation of his findings I was able to understand why repair was not an option. I asked him to look at the over-the-stove microwave, which was out of scope of the service request. He quickly was able to determine the microwave had a short that when turned on pops the circuit breaker. He also determined that three of the kitchen outlets were on the same circuit as the microwave and based on the age of the house could be a issue and I needed to have an electrician look at the wiring.
