Route 6 Tires — Local services in Sandyston Township

These guys are the best no doubt! I have been to the shop about a half dozen times, in both preventative and dire situations. In none of these situations did I ever feel I was being taken advantage of, more importantly I am always treated with respect. The total cost of tires and mounting are very fairly priced, both used and new. This last weekend I hit a pothole and blew out my tire, I took it around 5pm and they discovered my strut broke (which ripped my tire and was unsafe to drive). 5pm, they close at 7!! (with a car currently being worked on in the garage), they got the part delivered and efficiently and safely installed my new strut and tire. This was all done with my 2 kids in the car! (all the while they were entertaining them and making them laugh). If I went to Mavis or another corporate shop I could only imagine the stress, time and money I would have had to endure. They went above and beyond, especially since installing a strut was huge favor and the fact that they finished around 7:30. These guys are knowledgeable, fair and cool....

Was having problems with bad vibration after getting new tires from another shop. 3 Mechanics and 2 other tire shops couldn't figure out what was causing the shaking. Owner here at Route 6 Tires fixed the problem, easy. The other shop had the tire pressure incorrect, by ALOT. He took the time, figured it out, and educated me on many things. He saved me getting an alignment, and doing other expensive work that was not necessary. I will buy tires here from now on. EXCELLENCE! Update: Just got new Hancook PT tires from Rt 6 Tires for the price of regular all seasons. WOW what a difference in handling, and control ! This old car handles like new.
