Beyond your dreams!!
We annually invite our three adult offspring, their spouses, and children to join us for a week in Mimosa Mornings. Itâs a lovely four bedroom, five and one-half bathroom, plus bunk room, home in the Gulf Trace neighborhood.
The small Gulf Trace neighborhood has easy access to the white sand beaches and emerald Gulf waters. (Mimosa Mornings is a staggering fifteen feet from the beach walkover and has fabulous views from all levels.) The wide, Gulf Trace beach is bordered and extended on both ends by the beaches of Grayton State Park. (If you like being near a beach and listening to the wavesâ this is hard to beat!)
ANDâ Mimosa Mornings has everything you might want for a perfect Gulf beach vacation.
At poolside on the ground floor thereâs: a pool, hot tub, and lounge chairs; outdoor grills, a protected refrigerator, and preparation counter. Plus, in the same protected area thereâs a well-equipped ping pong table.
On the wide driveway thereâs plenty of parking space. (We do have to shuffle cars, however, so the kids can play basketball on the wide drive. Well, not really, thatâs only to make room for bigger ones to shoot three pointers).
Our five grand-ones share a bunk room with lockers on the second level (the bunk room sleeps six and has an adjoining bathroom, separate sinks and mirrors for them). The second level includes a second, smaller living room with television (great for movie nights or sporting events). It also includes a fully equipped laundry room.
There are two bedrooms with full size bathrooms also on the second level. These offer separate porches, nice views of the Gulf, and privacy but convenient access to the giggling children in the bunk room, if needed.
The third level includes a pantry room, fully equipped, large kitchen, openâ across a spacious, half-moon counter eating areaâ to the dining and living room areas. Thereâs a guest/shared restroom and an enclosed screened-in outdoor eating space. This third level also includes a large bedroom with great Gulf views and a separate full-size bathroom.
The fourth level has a master suite with bath and another outdoor porch with gorgeous views of the Gulf.
If there is something missing from this perfect home, weâve yet to find it! Thereâs even a neat, small elevator to haul groceries and heavy luggage from the garage on the ground floor to the upper levels.
Mimosa Morningsâ Impossibly beautiful...
Read moreThis is more about the owner of our unit, not the management company reviewed here - however, they are the middle-man and whatever the owner does or doesn't do is a reflection on them (they were very prompt and responsive and I sense a bit embarrassed by the owner's lack of response).
This house is in a great location. There are a lot of minor things that need to be updated. Wouldn't cost that much and when you have a $3+ million home, please keep it up to date. Electronics, AV, the dishwasher, etc. are a few examples. I do feel that we should have been notified or at least made aware that there was a home being built right across the street with some serious noise and construction traffic daily starting at 7am. Not ideal when the kids rooms are on that side of the house (backing up on big machines, nail guns, etc.). This is just a common courtesy that we have been notified at previously rented properties - we wouldn't have cancelled just would have been nice to know. My biggest complaint and it is a major issue is with the owner Rad (I believe that was his name - from TX) whom wouldn't respond to us or Grayt 30a re: the controlling of the temperature of the unit. They have a Google Nest thermostat and is was controlled and locked by pin by the owner. Not even the mgmt company had access to it. THIS IS A PROBLEM WHEN THE TEMP. IS SET TO NOT GO BELOW 70! Unacceptable sleeping temp and just overall comfortability temp when it is mid-80s with humidity, even in October. For several days, Grayt 30a tried to reach him via phone and text and still no response. Crazy! This property has a lot of positives for sure. However, an owner that doesn't respond is unacceptable.
We are a family of 4 that has been coming to NW FL since the late 70s when it was a small fishing village. Been coming to 30A since early 90s. Ages 45-49. Kids 10-15. Hope...

We had an incredible week at Sea Turtle Cottage in Seagrove Beach with our extended familyâfive adults and three young children. The home was perfect for our group, offering plenty of space and comfort for everyone.
The adult bedrooms were spacious and well-appointed, with ample storage and comfortable beds. Three of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms, which made things easy and private. The kids loved the bunk room, and it worked great for our little ones.
The kitchen and living area were ideal for gathering and relaxing. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchenâthere were more than enough utensils and tools for any meal we wanted to prepare. Having two refrigerators and an extra ice maker was a huge plus for a group our size. Another thoughtful touch was the convenience of two washer/dryer unitsâone upstairs and one downstairsâwhich made laundry simple and efficient throughout the week.
Outside, the backyard was a favorite spot in the evenings. While we didnât use the firepit, we spent time enjoying the outdoor seating and watching the sunsetâit was peaceful and beautiful. The beach access was just steps away, which made coming and going with the kids effortless.
We made so many great memories during our stay and truly hope to return. Highly recommend Sea Turtle Cottage for families looking for a relaxing and well-equipped...
