I have hiked to the top of Mt Washington and other mtns of the presidential range several times using several different trails. I understand that hiking permits are now required. Should you make the hike be sure to visit the Lake of the Clouds and even stay the night! If you drive the auto road, make sure to get a close up look at the top of the cog railroad. Have your brakes in good working order so your bumper sticker gets all the way down with you!! There is no more breath taking scenery in the United...
