I was very disappointed and shocked with the customer service I was given. I would not recommend you rent any party equipment or tents from this place or anything at all. I planned my daughters first birthday and called to rent my items ahead of time to make sure they would be available on the date I needed them. When we were setting up for the party come to find out my tent was missing 3 walls. I had requested 4 due to it being very windy. When I called them they were closed and had 3 different numbers to leave a voicemail. I was unable to reach any of those numbers or leave a voicemail due to full voicemail boxes which makes it seem like no one checks their voicemails. I was unable to use my patio heater inside of the tent to maintain my party of 40 warm since I was missing 3 walls there was no point on a 25-degree weather day. I was unable to hang any of my decorations because they kept flying away. Long story short I had to move the party inside unable to use more than half of decorations and table clothes I bought for our party outside. We also rented a bouncy house come to find out they only include 2 stakes to hold it down on a supper windy day no one felt comfortable using the bouncy house or putting their kids at risk. I was very disappointed it was my daughters first birthday and I had waisted all this time and effort for nothing. When I called the next day. I let them know about what had happened and they were very short and rude and said they would refund me for the walls they forgot to include they never checked their inventory or tried to apologize. The guy I spoke with seemed like he knew they forgot out walls. When I got there. I asked to speak with a manger the guy at the front desk said he was the manger his name was Paul. I began to explain to him what had happened, and he said he would only refund me for the items they forgot. I was very frustrated with the situation because Paul was very short and kept cutting me off and made it seem like it was my fault for not calling during store hours or checking everything. I am very disappointed that I put my trust in this place I had handed the guy the sheet with all the items I had rented when I went to pick them up. I think it's pretty easy making sure someone gets the items they rented when it's all on a piece of paper. It is very obvious this place is very unorganized, and the staff. Especial Paul had no compassion whatsoever and poor customer service skills. The picture I include is of Paul and you can clearly see his expression. NOT at any point was I Rude or yelling at Paul for him to treat me the way he did. I had to dispute the amount I had paid with my bank for rendering of service after 2 months of an investigation my bank decided to refund me the amount because they agreed I wasn't provided the service...

POOR CUSTOMER SERVIES and HIGHWAY ROBBERY! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!

Having moved 3 times in the past 3 years I am fairly familiar with rental policies and procedures. When I needed to use a trailer to pick up new future I decided to use Prior Lake Rental and save myself the 89 delivery fee. I went in to Prior Lake Rental on a Sunday to pick up a 5x8 open trailer. MY first mistake was thinking a local rental retailer would be cheaper than UHAUL, a national retailer which they offer, but choose not to provide me with their services because they can make MORE MONEY off their customers if you don’t specifically state you want to use a UHAUL trailer. Next I stated I need a trailer for a day. AGAIN, I have used MANY DIFFERENCE rental providers and a “day” means you rent it on Sunday then you drop it off on Monday. The sales associate that helped me stated they were open on Mondays from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. They hooked up the trailer and off I went. When I returned the next day to drop off the trailer it was after 5:00 PM. I work in Minneapolis and leave for work at 6:15 AM and usually get home around 5:30 PM which means I couldn’t return the trailer any earlier than the 5:45 time that I returned to Prior Lake Rental. The same associate that I rented the trailer from stated to me

Sales Associate ... “looks like you needed it a bit more than a day.” Customer … “What do you mean? I rented it yesterday and I am returning it today.” Sales Associate … “Yes but you rented it yesterday at 11:00 AM.” Customer … “ok, I used it yesterday, you were only open until 4:00, so I am returning it today, and since I work on Mondays 7:00 – 4:00 in Minneapolis, this is the earliest I could return it.” Sales Associate … “OK, not a problem, but we are going to have to charge you more.” Customer … “What do you mean more?” Sales Associate … “Well instead of a two day rental I guess I can charge you for a day and a half.”

1 day rental = $36.00 dollars My “day and half rental” with tax = $ 78 dollars. If someone can do math better than me, please tell me how he came up with that!

Not to cause a seen, as I knew I was heated, I paid it and went out to drop off the trailer BUT I WILL NEVER GO BACK! I RECOMMEND if you are in the need for rental equipment driving the extra time/miles to Shakopee or Burnsville, because these people are CROOKS!

The $10 saved was not worth the time, and gas to pick it up nor having to carry and set up...

I've had the opportunity to utilize the services of Prior Lake/Savage Rental Center on several occasions for various projects, and each time I've been met with professionalism, efficiency, and quality equipment.

From renting screw jacks to a tracked Kubota 1000 for digging 35 holes, my experiences have been largely positive. While the screw jacks were different from each other, it wasn't a significant issue. However, I did find that the handles being only 5 inches long required a bit of improvisation with a pipe to gain proper leverage. Perhaps, longer handles would be a minor improvement to consider.

The real highlight was the Kubota machine, which performed flawlessly. The staff took the time to guide me through its operation, showing me details that might not be common knowledge, ensuring a smooth experience.

I must also commend the team for their quick and organized service. The equipment was usually ready and loaded as soon as I pulled around back, which helped save valuable time.
