It's good to see positive reviews from others because my experience with this place was awful and I didn't even get to move in..
I started my application process with a lady named Christina back on March of this year. Before I paid the fee application fee and even did the interview.. I and two of my coworkers asked her if I would qualify. This lady asks me how much I got paid right then and there I said my wages and said but I am part time. So she confidently says yes and I proceed with the interview the following week. (Mind you at this time, this is one month after I buried my 5 month baby, and I was in a domestic situation which I also explained to this lady)
After doing the interview, the lady never calls me back. The staffing is horrible with communication. So I and my coworkers call to follow up and Cristina kept assuring and reassuring us that the numbers were fine, I got the place. Moving forward to about April and May... I am still waiting to move. Cristina finally tells me that she needs a release form from my current apartment so I do just that. Then a few weeks later I was told that someone tampered with my file and my numbers were off.
To expedite the story, I was shown " my apartment" and told to put power in my name. Because I gave notice to my apartment, I was pretty much preparing to leave. Even told my kids I was picking up the keys. The day comes for me to pick up my keys and I get told in person I wasn't going to be able to move in because I made too much. Mind you through this whole process I and my coworkers were calling them, communicating, asking questions to avoid this. I get asked to submit 6 months of bank statements a month or so after waiting to hear back from Cristina. So every hoop they gave me I jumped through.
Weeks go by again So I get upper management involved. They tried to act like they were gonna do everything in their power to right the wrong and acted like they didn't know what was going on but was CC'd in every email.
All I asked for at that point was my money back for everything I spent and to reimburse me for the power bill because it was Cristina who said plenty of times she has over 20 years in the business that she was positive and certain I was moving in.
July I got a final Verdict of not getting my money back and no one was ever able to sit down and prove the calculations.
Tbh after going to that office and hearing others complain about their residence falling apart, leaking, and then the lack of communication... to God be the Glory I...
Read moreI would say the townhome we live in is fine. Although you can tell these were rushed and put together as everything tends to break pretty easily. It takes months for your maintenance requests to be completed, so don't expect fast service. They have about 1-3 maintenance people for over 500 apartments, so I don't fault them too much. When we first moved in, only one family lived there prior. Cabinet doors were already falling off, the garbage disposal didn't work, the piping in the laundry room was messed up and caused the room to flood (which they never fixed, our amazing neighbor did), and some other cosmetic defects I noted to them. As long as you don't need anything immediately, it's fine to live in but again, you get what you pay for. I think it's a good starting place if you're rebuilding your credit or are a first time renter. The staff are nice, but they are overwhelmed & it's a high turnover rate so it will be next to impossible to get them on the phone. Even going into the office doesn't really help. We are in the process of moving and even that has been a hassle to notify someone in the office. If you do plan on moving here, it is a $65 application fee for each adult and an $800 security deposit (not sure why their website doesn't mention this). It is income based as well, so as long as you don't make over $75k, you'll be fine. Please be honest with them, because they might can help your situation. Overall, it's been okay. My area is quiet, near the townhomes and duplexes, but the apartments are another story. Be careful in...
Read moreDo not believe the “Reviews” written on Keisha, because it is most likely her friends and family who are writing those bogus reviews. I believe she has family members who lives in Savannah Gardens Apartments. I feel this way because I had been harassed for 2 years by a person who lives in the adjusting duplex. This person who tell her 4 year old son to pull flowers out of my flower pot that set on the back porch. They would also pull up flowers on the front porch and poured something in the pot that cause my flowers on the front porch to die. Numerous times a week that person would tell her 4 year old son to ring my door bell and kick the door. I made out a complaint. I was told to speak to Keisha. No results a all. Keisha only words were if there is a problem there you both need to move. I am in my bed or watching TV and my door bell and kicks being placed on my door, and all this lady can say, if there is a problem you both need to move. She sound crazy. After putting up with this for 2 years and receiving no help from Keisha I filled a police report. Also, over a year ago it was a minus sign on my rent statement for over 4 hundreds dollars, I asked Keisha why was there a minus sign on my rent statement and she replied by saying “She” did not know. I then asked her if the minus sign meant that I owe money and again she said she did not know and that she could not answer my question about the minus sign because Savannah Garden Apartments did not have a property manager on staff, as one manager had...
