Three Bears Alaska — Local services in Saxman

Don't get me wrong, I love that this store moved to Saxman, AK. However, I have noticed one thing, and this is about the meat. I see it gets good views, but I cannot leave such a view because I have noticed the beef and pork in particular have a hardness about them. Hard to chew is what I mean. I wouldn't be concerned if it were only me, but it's the other 3 in my household who agree.

We have not come to this decision lightly. We decided to try meat from Safeway again, since we began doing most of our grocery shopping Saxman. There is definitely a difference in texture. Safeway's meat was definitely softer.

So we didn't let it go there, my daughter Googled why would meat be harder to eat after cooked. The main answer was over processed meat meaning it was handed to often and reprocessed. Refrozen kinda things that happen to meat before it gets to our tables.

I don't care if you do or so not answer my comment! Frankly, I don't expect one just like any other company who takes comments. The least I can hope for tho, is for one of you to at least look into it and see why would l meat end up hard? That's it.

Love this store! Staff is wonderful and very customer service focused. Went to the deli for some chicken. It wasn't quite ready so I told the deli clerk I'd get my other shopping done and come back. A few minutes later while I was on the other side of the store, the deli clerk walked up and handed me the item I was waiting for. Now that's what I call service. He could have just let me come back to the deli, but he went out of his way to bring the item to me. Top notch service. I needed propane for my motorhome. Drove to town earlier in the day to see if they could service it and the man in charge said they could until 11:00pm. Went back home and took about 2 hours to unhook and get the motorhome out of its spot. Went back at about 5:45pm and the guy at the register told me they couldn't fill it until the next morning because of staffing issues. This was a major inconvenience because getting the motorhome out has to be coordinated with many different parties because of where it is located.
