Bastin Distillery — Local services in Saxonburg

My girlfriend and I were in town for the Artisan Market. We stopped in here to get a peach mule (they were selling mules in a nice silver cup for $10 - $8 for the mule and $2 for the cup. This was advertised on FB before the event and was definitely on our list of stops. We had almost forgotten when a ex coworker reminded us and sent us in the correct direction. We walked in and sat down at the bar - we weren't greeted for a few minutes which was fine - it was busy. That's when a gentleman that was behind the bar looked me in the eyes and I asked him for 2 peach mules. He muttered something and walked back around the bar and sat down at the bar... Never once said anything to the bartender (that I thought he was..) We sat there for 15 minutes with nothing in front of us and were never approached again.

I won't be returning for any of these shenanigans.. I ordered drinks and was ignored until we left!

This was the worst experience of our day...

Had the opportunity to go to Bastin Distillery and was NOT disappointed. They were very busy, which was good to see and they were still able to interact with each of the customers. Very pleasant! I bought a bottle of their Root Beer. Probably could mix with a little Root Beer Pop (yep Western Pa), but honestly, it is great by itself. I am looking forward to trying the others and stocking my cupboard. Local family owned and operated in Saxonburg...

Great local distillery in saxonburg, the drinks are very well balanced with some great choices, it's a great place to hangout and get some great drinks...
