Visiting Saxonburg I was surprised to see a Korean Restaurant connected to the Spankleâs supermarket . Now I am particular when it comes to Asian food since I work at a cooking school that specializes in teaching a variety of Asian dishes including Korean. To my delight Pocha was a golden find in the Korean restaurant business in Western Pa. Owner Kye-won was a real treat to talk to. Her enthusiasm about serving REAL Korean food was fantastic. She spoke about dishes she had as a child and offering them to the her customers. She spoke about how she preps all the food used in the dishes and making homemade kimchee. Her dishes are nicely spiced but not overwhelming. She also offers dietary suggestions if gluten free is necessary. Bibim Bop was excellent and true Korean with some ingredients I have never heard of. The Korean K-smash burger with kimchee was fantastic and juicy. You also need to try the Milk Ice dessert. The restaurant also partners with the Gris Mill for fantastic beer. This place is worth taking the ride to go toâŚ...

Pocha had truly exceeded my expectations. If youâre looking for an authentic, insanely delicious, Korean dining experience, this is the place to be!
All of my food was cooked to perfection, great presentation, the spices and flavors were absolutely amazing, and the service was the cherry on top of the already very tall mountain of goodness!
Kye-Won and her son Aidan were absolutely fantastic as well. They are super friendly, very kind, and they did an excellent job with service. You can tell that they truly care for everyone who comes through that door, and all the care and love with that goes into the food as wellâŚwhich honestly just makes it all the better.
Whether youâre looking for authentic Korean or exceptional food in general, then this is your place. I am very much looking forward to eating here for years to come, and I encourage anyone who hasnât been yet to do so!...
Read moreI had Kye cater a dinner I was having for family coming in from out of town ( arriving from 4 other states). She was very helpful with letting me sample foods on the menu and making ⚠suggestions as I had only had Korean food 1 time. I also had family members who don't eat meat. Let me say that everything was fabulous and all my family loved the meal. I personally love her crabcakes which are full of crab and so flavorful. My family said her chicken wings were the best they ever had. The dumplings for an appetizer were so unique and tasty. The beef chicken and rice with sauces hit the spot. Don't forget to get the marinated vegetables to mix in with meat. We live very close to Pocha and will now be regular customers. What a hidden gem...
