Windmill heights 2 — Local services in Schertz

If you want peace and quiet, then this is the place to be! Even though you are so close to Loop 1604 and Hwy 87, you DO NOT hear the traffic. We've been living here since the first of March, about 2 1/2 months, and we love it! They don't have any amenities except a catch and release pond that has a good amount of fish in it. We have met a few people here, and they're so nice. There's no management or owners living on site, but David is just a phone call or text away if you need something. He is so nice!!! The rent is very, very reasonable, and includes electric, water, and wifi. The lots are very large and a lot of them have shade trees. It's a small park with about 80 lots, give or take.

Just down Hwy 87, there's a Dollar General, Tractor Supply, and a Little Caesars Pizza inside the Shell gas station. You have to go to Lavernia for an HEB or go to Walmart in San Antonio to buy groceries. But it's not too far away, about 10-15 minutes.

So, if you're looking for a nice quiet, beautiful park out in the country, with large lot's, then this place is for you. No matter if you're long or short-term. I think I'll stay here...

Nice area. Well manicured. The internet towers seem to be quite inadequate with access limited to only a few hours a week. Noise limits are not enforced. I have a neighbor that loves to rev his motorcycle at 2am for about 30 minutes each night. Sorry, but I was hoping for some peace and quiet, but it seems there are others that don't...
