Dollar General — Local services in Schuyler

To be fair, this store has had substantial employee turnover and in my opinion, a major factor in the stores overall retail appearance. Unpacked boxes of products blocking isles, an unorganized, sloppy clearance isle. Expired products and items/tags/empty cardboard on floor. As each gung-ho employee or manager that comes in and starts making progress, within a month or two it reverts right back along with passing the blame as to why. It is a busy small town store, but not every small town looks like this one, has the problems as this one, or hires employees who ignore store policies (CIG I.D.) and all around lazy, don't care attitudes. I love this store, they always have such great prices. I really save a lot of money shopping there. I can usually find what I am looking for but if not the great friendly and smiling clerks help me find what I need. They also have great coupons weekly in the paper and online. And the $5 savings the following Saturday after spending $25 is a very nice perk as well. You can find just about anything you are needing there. I went in to drop off a FedEx package. The seemingly only employee in the store at the time told me he hadn’t been trained on how to handle this, and I would have to wait 10 minutes. I left after waiting 15-20 minutes, drove to Columbus, and was able to drop off my package at a gas station without even talking to anyone. What a waste of time.
