Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Scotts Hill

Well, this place is the only grocer within about 20 miles of us, so we shop here often. They don't have the best selection, but they do have the basics covered. They cater a lot to local tastes it seems. There is no deli or bakery, and no chance at any kind of fresh seafood. (What I wouldn't do for some fresh crab legs!) Sadly, the produce section is lacking as well, but I can say I have seen improvements. They are trying! While they have a cart for people who have difficulty walking, it doesn't work, so basically ...it's bring your own wheelchair/hover round, or suffer. This surprises me since the majority of the population around here seems to be leaning towards older/elderly. The cashier's and baggers are always a pleasure to speak with, and they are the only store I know of that still hauls your stuff to the car for you, so keep a couple bucks on hand to tip them for their...

That's a lot of garbage mixed in to get more weight. None of this was attached. It was just thrown in to add weight to the bag. Edit: only had this issue one time. I've bought around 200lbs of the leg quarters. Would have changed from 1 star to 5. But they sold me bad milk 4 times in the past 6 months. So 3 it is. Everything else is great though. Store is well organized an clean. Pallets an boxes up front around registers don't look becoming,also be careful when buying pork meats. I have gotten home with strong/old smelling meat. I only cooked it for my dogs I wouldn't eat it. I use Fair Life milk it always has a long shelf life,yet 2 times I have purchased it an got home ,open it an it smells an taste sour,yet the expectation date can be 2 weeks away.
