Such a cool spot to visit in Santa Cruz. I came her recently with my girlfriend and it was a ton of fun. The hike in is a bit long, but generally the ground is flat and easy to navigate. Once there the hike down to the water is a bit steep, so make sure you have the proper footwear on. The Garden itself is very peaceful. When we went there where many other visitors there as well. There was plenty of space for everyone to have a spot and the water was very cold. There is also a cliff jump that was very exciting but in all honesty was a bit dangerous as the water was not clear enough to see where you are going to land. All in all it was a great adventure! Make sure to bring lots of water, snacks, blankets, backpacks and the right shoes.

very nice lots to do but make sure to try to go on a hot day as well as after it has rained. The water is really cold and you must hike for about 15 minutes from the beginning of the trail head to garden of eden. Remember that there is no cellphone reception so if you need a ride try to arrange one beforehand. It gets pretty shady and therefore very cold so account for that.

This place is absolutely beautiful, I would admit that it was packed but saw very little to none trash. The water felt amazing. I’d say it’s like a 10-15 minute walk and a small hike down to reach to the spot, but it’s very easy. ( ignore the mary review 😭, it’s not at all how she describes it)

Extremely kind and helpful staff and members. The facility is incredible and so well maintained you would think the facility is brand new. I was using a walker and everyone was so kind and stopped what they were doing to help me if I needed it. With 5 swimming pools many social opportunities and other gym facilities it’s a great place to stay and get healthy. I loved my experience and I know I will be returning soon to join the club. They’re beginning person package is really great...

Used to be magical. But this place effectively got destroyed because of social media posting and posting to Google maps. When I grew up, we had a wonderful time here. Now there is trash, broken glass, human waste and so on.

Perhaps consider not posting beautiful places to social media or Google maps. Bring your friends, but don’t blast it out to the world, where some people don’t know how to...
