Update 2, please read. Purchased a quarter cow in January of 2024 and had to throw the whole beef in the trash. It was not eatable. Donnies market said they would make it right and have received nothing but a run around. Will never trust this place again. Be careful about ordering a cow here. I had spoken with the butcher and was told Matt from Donnies market brought an old cow to be processed, and they asked if he was sure he wanted processed and he said, yes. They purposely sold old meat. UPDATE: I had to take Donnies market to court, which I have won judgement against. Can you believe, they still have not made this right! Read moreWe stopped for some produce on the way to Rehoboth Beach. There are a number of produce stations on the way, but Donnie's seems to be the last one of any size and variety before you hit Route One bedlam. We bought some wonderful fresh tomatoes, excellent yellow corn, cantaloupe, watermelon, and crispy green beans. On a whim we bought an apple pie that proved to be the best we had eaten in years: lots of apple slices, nice cinnamon, and very little goop filler or lard.
