My parents introduced me to this lovely, more than a Farmer's, Market on the way to the Delaware Beaches. That's right, they scooped me on this one! TS. Smith & Sons on Redden road is worth waiting for the left hand arrow off 13 easily found by taking the Bridgeville bypass on the way to the beach. That's right, it's on the left of Rt. 13 and it seems to always take about 2 left arrow light rotations to make that turn - but, as I said, worth it! More than a Farmer's Market but with all the great farm produce! I love getting blueberries here. They taste SO much better than those in the grocery store. Also available, coffee, breakfast sandwiches, cut your own Sunflowers, breads, hand soaps, and a very nice clean bathroom. I recently blogged about *Beachy Travel Tips* with great places to stop off on the way to and from the Maryland and Delaware beach featuring traffic tips, shopping, and of course, the best and cleanest pit stops! There's nothing like a clean bathroom! And if you can also get lovely local produce and more while you're there? All the better! TS Smith & Sons is just delightful!

Slow it down a bit, stay out of corporate lunch boxes and treat yourself to one of the best lunch joints in Delmarva. Stopped for lunch on way home from OC. Food came out fast and I enjoyed best tuna melt and grilled cheese sandwiches we’ve ever had. While you’re waiting for lunch walk around the market, you’ll feel like you’ve transcended time. Sample some gourmet olive oils and / or dehydrated beet or veggie chips or local butter toasted peanuts. A super clean market with lots of fresh produce & other food choices. Super friendly staff all did a great job to ensure we had a great lunch! Can’t wait to go back this summer.

T. S. Smith & Sons is the perfect midday stop when you need a break from exploring Bridgeville. This 800-acre farm is a family-owned operation with the oldest apple, peach, and nectarine crops in the state. Other fruits and vegetables – including asparagus, sweet corn, strawberries, broccoli, tomatoes, squash, and cantaloupe – are also grown on-site. Enjoy some fresh apple cider donuts and various jams and jellies, or purchase some fresh produce for the road.
