I recently stumbled upon this delightful local market in Delaware that has blown my taste buds away with their incredibly fresh and delicious ice cream! If you're in the mood for a sweet treat that caters to your allergies and offers unique flavors, this place is an absolute must-visit!
From the moment I stepped into the market, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. The staff here is incredibly accommodating and took the time to understand my allergies, ensuring I could indulge in their ice cream without any worries.
I couldn't resist trying the apple cider slushie, and it was divine! The perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, it's the ideal treat to cool off on a hot day.
But the real star of the show is their ice cream selection. The flavors are out-of-this-world, and I found myself torn between the choices. Ultimately, I settled on the blueberry streusel and peach flavors, and I can honestly say I haven't tasted anything quite like it before. The blueberry streusel had generous bits of tart blueberry goodness mixed with sweet streusel pieces while the peach was bursting with the refreshing taste of summer. Each bite was a blissful journey of flavors!
What's even more impressive is the pricing. Two (heaping) scoops of ice cream for just $4 is an absolute steal considering the quality and taste. I wish I had ordered more because it's truly hard to get enough of this ice cream paradise.
Whether you're an ice cream aficionado or someone with dietary restrictions, this local market in Delaware has something for everyone. Their dedication to allergy-friendly options and the freshest ingredients in their ice cream is commendable. I can't recommend this place enough! Hurry and treat yourself to a delightful ice cream experience; you won't be...
Read moreI passed by this farmers market several times before I decided to stop on in. It's wonderful from the outside, they have crafts for sale and items such as firewood that pertained to the season. When I went into the Orchard Point Market to the left are a bank of registers and directly in front of me was an area for sit down dining. Quite taken back I expected a large farmers market! I continued in and saw folks off to the far left shopping. It must be the market. I was nicely surprised the market had a limited selection of all the things I was there to purchase. Fresh raw turmeric root, ginger root, garlic, fresh Roma tomatoes which are simply the best. They had herbs that were in planted pots that you could take home and grow for yourself such as cilantro and basil and parsley and a romaine type salad lettuce that was fabulous. Plenty of fresh apples and fresh vegetables for the taking. I tried a new honey locally sourced. Although my 12 pound honey in the glass jar had arrived from Swarmbustin Honey in West Grove, PA the day after my shopping trip here. I do like there honey and will buy it again. Dont miss out on the free Edible Magazine full of wonderful articles and this month they offer the area farmers markets for you to visit in De and VA and PA. Don't miss this. All in all a smaller farmers market than usual but well...
Read moreOn our way to VA saw that they had breakfast sandwiches from 7-11 with free coffee. Great sandwich, adorable place. They have cape May peanut butter! Apples on sale Fuji, red delicious and others $1.12 lb. I think they are all 25% right now. Open year round. Bakery too. The above review was written 2 years ago and I wanted to update. We visited here 2x this week. We went for lunch and some apples. I ordered a BLT...delicious! They use thick soft whole wheat & white bread. We went back 2 days later and picked up sandwiches. My husband got the Bridgeville Bacon Bomb, peanut butter, apple butter, bacon and banana on whole wheat bread. He loved it. Prices are reasonable too. We highly recommend for lunch, you won't disappoint. We also picked up Pumpkin...
