Birchview Memory Care — Local services in Sedro-Woolley

Although a family member chose to post a poor review with inaccurate information, I want to counter that by saying that Birchview Memory Care provided excellent care for my mother. The facility is always clean and the residents all appear well-cared for. The management and staff were professional and took very good care of my mother. The activities director always had fun and creative ways to keep residents engaged. The staff were always good about keeping me informed about any incidents (such as a fall or issue with another resident). I recognize the incredibly hard job they have in caring for our loved ones with dementia and very much appreciate the care they provided. My mother was a resident for almost four years and, to her, it was home. She was well loved and the staff were good with her. Although her health took turn for the worse in her last three months, it was certainly not due to the care that was provided, but rather a progression of the disease. I toured several memory care facilities prior to moving my mother to Birchview and, in my opinion, Birchview was superior to all others. I highly recommend Birchview...

I would stay very far away from this place. We had a good experience with them years ago with my father who was in there for 2 years. I was looking for a place for my mother when the covid thing started . She was in the hospital and I couldn't go in but they sent their accessor in to decide where she needed to be. We agreed to have her go to their home at a cost of over $6,000 a month. They took her from the hospital and entered her into their place then called me and told me they had another bill for $4,500 a month more. When I question them about it they told me the $6,000 a month was just the rent the $4,500 was for her care. I removed her from the home then they called adult protective services on me. My mother is living at home and doing fine with no memory care needed it was all a scam. These people do not care about...
