My son has attended The Baddour Center since he was 23. He is now 42 and is thriving . He works at the workshop helping package items , he participates in sports and most of the activities he is interested in . He loves the off campus excursions and will advocate for himself to be able to go if he forgets to sign up. There are many activities for all from arts and crafts to Bible Study and computer time in the lab and cooking classes at the recreation center and a swimming pool open on weekends. He participates in therapeutic horseback riding, volleyball, basketball , swimming and he used to do flag football. There are Special Olympics in Tennessee that The Baddour Center will attend. Golf is another activity offered but my son isn’t interested in that activity. There are plays and talent competitions that the residents put on and we will see the talent show in 2 weeks when we visit for homecoming. There is a chorus group on campus called The Miracles that tour around to many nearby states so residents that are interested in singing can join them. The staff is wonderful and attentive to my son’s needs . They show us how much they care about the residents and when my son does something he wants on Facebook, someone snaps a picture and sends it to me. It’s a caring place and encourages independence. My husband and I are very grateful to have The Baddour Center available for my son to live and grow and feel fulfilled. Communication is great because we live in another state and he will call us on his phone, or the house phone and also get someone to call us if he has a question or wants to brag about himself. The Baddour Center is a wonderful...

I was fortunate enough as a teacher to be able to take my third graders on a field trip to explore the Baddour Center and interact with the residents. They ALL walked away saying it was their favorite field trip ever. It is such a happy place that is always hopping with multiple activities. The employees are exceptional. Senatobia is very fortunate to have the Baddour Center...
