Dollar General — Local services in Senatobia

I just visited the Dollar General in Senatobia and noticed a display of Sun Chips placed directly in front of a sign that read “2 for $8.” I specifically chose the chips based on that signage. At checkout, I asked the cashier—who was on her phone while ringing up my items—if they had rung up correctly. She said they weren’t on sale. I mentioned the sign I saw, and she walked with me to the display. She pointed out that the sign was for Fritos, but the Frito bags were not visible at all. It was a poor location for the chips, creating confusion.

Additionally, the cashier had an earbud in and was clearly on a call during the entire interaction. When I pointed out that this seemed unprofessional, she replied that she was talking to her boss. I don’t know what is going on with the times at this place and the one at 5431 hwy 51 N. Some days they close at 8pm; 8:30pm; 9:15; 9:30 & 10:00. A couple of ppl was trying to come in around 9pm the other day and the worker said her supervisor told her to close up, but she went on & let them in then locked it again. It’s very inconvenient when the sign clearly says closes at 10:00pm, but get there & they’re closed...

This store closes at any hour of the day. It is always a hit or miss if it will be open. If I could give it zero...
