Nice experience...one thing to be aware of is the tubes can get faster later in the day (as the snow turns icy as more and more people slide over). One needs to get up and step away after they slide down to avoid getting hurt from the next person who is sliding down. This may sound trivial, but we saw this happening 1st hand. The tubes slided down faster than expected and the people crashed onto others down below...

Found (for me personally) that the $ for the "extreme" zipline experience was the most extreme part of the experience, again IMO. We went on a real extreme zipline experience while in San Juan for half the $. I guess I expected more of the mountain & terrain to be used on Hawksnest. Also, if you want to do this, I recommend calling to see if you need a reservation. Probably not, but Memorial Day weekend was...

You can spend an entire day snow tubing here. There are slopes for each age category and after you are done snowtubing, don’t forget to get some awesome pictures and enjoy the hot chocolate and pizza here. Getting there is easy although at some places the roads are a bit steep so make sure that you have all weather tires on...
