I attended the Soca Neo Soul Wine Festival. The grounds are beautiful, the people were grown & sexy, and the music was great. Attendees could not bring alcohol or food. A way to force us to purchase whatever alcohol and food was being sold. The only food we were allowed to bring was small snacks and water. Could not bring coolers on wheels--be prepared to stand on long lines carrying your tents, umbrellas. and chairs in the heat. Wine tasting was a separate line from purchasing a bottle of wine. We were allowed to purchase only one cold bottle of wine any more were hot. Bottles were $25 & $30 depending on alcohol percentage. In my opinion the wines had more juice than alcohol. Be prepared to stand on each line for an hour or more. It took about 20 minutes to drive into the grounds before we could park. With all the restrictions our bags were never checked. Read moreSomewhat underwhelmed. I expected more balloons and that they would be up higher. Price of vip parking was very high and we were way back. Not worth the money. Music was hard rock - love it but not really appropriate for a family event like this. I think the venue was just not big enough for this and the setup was odd. Lasers needed to be directly behind balloons. People actually started leaving five minutes into the show. Nice to have done it. Food was great from food truck. Enjoyed my date!
