Unfortunately, the Wizard room was a bit of a disappointment for our group of experienced Escapees.
The Good: The room was really nicely decorated and on theme. Sound effects linked to the room were a nice bonus I haven't seen many other places. The electronics were well done.
The Bad: The plot was really poor; there was no storyline besides "oh, your broom got taken, and I guess you need to go find it now." There was also no flow to the room at all. It took us a long time even to get the first full "puzzle", and that was because we asked for a hint. The guide didn't give us a hint, they just told us what to do next to get past that part. There wasn't anything in the room that would have pointed to that being the first step, which was really frustrating to us. There were also some red herrings sprinkled throughout. We had spent a lot of time trying other puzzles that seemed solvable at the time but apparently couldn't be solved until the very end, which is poor room design. It seems like the electronics integration was done forcefully, as in "hey I have this idea of a mech... how can we add it to this room that we've already mostly created? Let's just add it in over here and decorate it, no need to have it match into the plot at all".
I really wanted to like this one, but it wasn't a winner for us. We did get out, but it was rather bittersweet as we had anticipated a better time...

I think this would be a good room to introduce someone to escape rooms.
What I think could be better is holding off on giving unprompted clues. We ended with loads of time and did not get the chance to escape unassisted.
I would have given 5 stars, though I do not like being bribed for a positive review.
I also understand as a business you like money and only have a few chances to get it from me since the puzzles are a one time thing, but it still feels bad having to pay for each person individually. Almost $300 for 8 people vs $60 for two. Even though the same time taken setting up the room and taking the time to watch the room. It just seems wrong.
I have seen a discount system which I liked. 1-4 people $28 each 5 people $24 each 6 people $22 each 7 people $20 each 8 people $19 each. Ya know those might not make sense but the point is there.
Anyway was I glad to do the room? I guess so. It...
