Luxury? More Like a mismanaged Disappointment
I’ve been living at The Point at Sharon for several months now, and I have to say, the experience has been absolutely dreadful. Don’t let the shiny marketing fool you into believing this is some sort of luxury property. Sure, there are some positive aspects: it’s in a good location, close to the highway for easy access, the area itself is pretty quiet, and they even offer free parking with an EV charger (a small mercy). But that’s where the good news ends.
Let’s talk about the management—easily the worst part of this nightmare. They’re completely unresponsive, disorganized, and downright uninformed. Any issue, no matter how urgent, is either ignored or addressed weeks later, if at all. When you’re paying this much, you expect at least a modicum of professionalism, but here? Absolutely not. It’s clear they’re more interested in collecting rent than actually maintaining the property or providing a good experience for their residents.
The package delivery system is a mess. Packages are constantly being lost or misplaced, and when you inquire about them, you get a shrug from the office staff. It’s as if they’ve never heard of organization or accountability. And don’t get me started on the elevator. It’s painfully slow, to the point where you’re better off taking the stairs—even if you live on the top floor.
Now, let’s dive into the “luxury” features they claim to offer. The HVAC system is beyond terrible. In the summer, it lierally does not cool, we’ve had to purchase two fans to keep comfortable, and in the winter, you’ll be lucky if it keeps the chill out. The door key readers frequently malfunction, so if you’re in a rush, good luck getting into your apartment without a fight with the door. The water pressure? Non-existent. You’d have better luck trying to shower with a trickle from a garden hose. And speaking of water, the quality is horrible—cloudy, bad-tasting, and definitely not what you expect from a so-called upscale property.
There’s no pool, which is baffling considering they market themselves as a luxury complex. You would think that would be a standard amenity. But the real kicker? The outrageous utility bills. They’re sky-high for no apparent reason, and when you try to inquire about it, you’re met with confusion and zero transparency. It makes no sense how the utilities can be this high when half the systems in the building barely function properly.
In summary, The Point at Sharon is anything but luxury. It’s a money pit with dismal management, broken amenities, and a total lack of attention to detail. A far cry from luxury. Save yourself the headache and find another...

This is the WORST place I have ever lived in. Please do not waste your time and money on this place.
From the water supply and drainage (septic tanks are drained once or twice a month LOUDLY starting very early in the morning and it WILL disrupt your rest) to common areas and living spaces, to the filthiness of hallways and walls with minimum maintenance. This is an awful place for residence.
The apartment planning is just pathetic with so much wasted space and inconvenient designing of the bathroom and closet area (your guests will be able to view -and go through- your closet from the restroom as it is part of the bathroom plan and not the bedroom) the shower tub does not drain well as it is not sloped or shaped in a proper way. So every time you take a shower (no baths since it is a foot shower) expect stale water and gunk accumulation, making routine cleaning an absolute nightmare. It is also very slippery because of that. The elevators are almost always filthy.
AND FORGET ABOUT HAVING ANY DIFFERENTLY ABLED GUESTS AS THE APARTMENT COMPLEX IS NOT DESIGNED WITH ACCESSIBILITY IN MIND (may be enough to access the main leasing office and thats about it).
If I knew what I now know I would have definitely spent my time and money somewhere else.
Edit to reply: the doors of B building don’t even open automatically neither do they stay open. The elevator doors open and close in no time so any differently abled individual who somehow propped the doors open to enter better be extremely quick to make it otherwise they are getting a face full of...
Read moreThe Apts are nice, maybe a little too much space dedicated to the bathrooms. Too many dogs, pit bulls which go after people. The current owners are less approachable and less knowledgeable than Eli. Too many residents on assistance. Loud parties and both kinds of smoke in the hallways. We recently officially moved but have been out for 3 months. Eric made it clear that no deals for early termination of lease, even with pitbulls attacking tenants. We get the statement on what we are to receive on our deposit. 3 showers in the last three months, and we get a water deduction of $300.00. Eric has no explanation. When asked to read the water meter, he says there is none. When we say we will go to Sharon Town hall, Eric says they use a sub station, and for us to call them. Call me old fashion, the people doing the billing and collecting the money, should have answers and they should do the research. I would not recommend living here.
Regarding the response: "worked closely"? Eric didn't even get off his chair when I addressed the pit bull incident. "Investigation" no follow up from Eric was done regarding 2 different conversations regarding...
