Beware! Dropped my rescue dog off for one day of boarding and nail-clipping. The front desk person calculated my bill based on me picking her up between 2-4 the following day (dropped off at 2 and told her it would be about the same time or slightly later the next day for pickup). I prepaid the entire bill including the nail job. I even asked when they closed to ensure I picked her up on time. I arrived at 4 the following day to have the same lady tell me I owed another $11 for "pick-up after 1 pm". She did not calculate this in the bill nor did she mention it when I said it would be 2-4 nor when I asked when they closed. The additional charge is NOT disclosed on any signage in the lobby. My last trip to Holidog. I made reservations the same day for a May boarding at another business. 2 stars are because the nail clipping was done correctly and I have NO indication of poor care of my dog, only poor business practice and no disclosure of add-on fees in signage or at the time of drop-off or when I prepaid the entire bill that they calculated. *edit You can see in my review above there is no mention of liars or claims of which person checked my dog in... so I am not sure what the owner is talking about here. He misses the point entirely: Holidog calculated the bill, not me, at 2:00 pm when I dropped my dog off. I told the clerk I would be back "about that same time or slightly later, between 2-4 pm". The bill did not reflect any late pick-up fees. I asked as I was leaving when they closed in case we were late getting back; no mention was made of a pick-up time cutoff. No mention of late fees on the website or in the lobby. I told the owner when I left that what he charges is irrelevant to me, it is his business not mine... he can charge whatever junk fees he likes. I only ask as a former customer, that they disclose them on the website, in the lobby, when they calculate and require me to prepay the bill, when I tell them the time range that I will pick up my dog, or when I ask them their closing time ( 5 chances for additional fee...

These people really care about your dogs. We have 3 dogs that get groomed every 3 weeks and if the groomer feels like there might be something wrong with you dog she lets you know so that you are aware of it. Our dogs have also boarded with them and they truly seemed to enjoy their stay while there. My sister-in-law told me about Holidog and I am so glad. She is so happy with them that she tells everyone that she gets the chance to about them. One other thing. One of our dogs is old and has been having skin problems. Before we started having Holidog groom our dogs she was getting sores kind of like hot spots on her pretty bad and they weren't going away. We were even taking her to the vet because of this problem. But when we started having Holidog groom her these sores went away. I don't know if it is because of the difference in shampooing products that they use or if it is a difference in the shampooing technique but the sores she was getting are gone and she is not getting any more of them. I would definitely recommend Holidog to...

DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOG HERE – NEGLIGENCE AT ITS WORST

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My brother entrusted his dogs to this facility for a weekend, only to find out—only because we called to check in—that one of his dogs had been missing for over 27 hours without anyone notifying him. How much longer would they have waited to say something? Would they have ever called at all?

We searched for weeks, covering the entire town with posters, desperate to find him. Not once did we see them out searching. After this disaster, they shut down their boarding services, but now they have decided to reopen, likely with some superficial changes. But no amount of new fencing or facility upgrades can fix the real problem: gross negligence and a total lack of respect for the pets and families who trust them.

A business like this doesn’t deserve a second chance. If you love your pets, do not leave them here. They lost a dog once—don’t let it...
