Love the fact cards available for visitors to take and have information at their fingertips! I grabbed two so that I can share one with a teacher. The grounds surrounding the site were beautiful. There were benches near the water, but we had to walk through so much poo to get to them. Would be nice if there was at least a path to them, an extension of the path around the flag and pole.
After reading the care and maintenance, it’s obvious that it requires the support of several people. T was a noticeable hole in the flag, so I wish there was a place at the site to leave feedback such as a QR code to email...
Read moreThe world's largest symbol of freedom (the American Flag), is a fantastic place to visit and reflect upon why it's here. Acuity Insurance provides the public with a nice parking lot and benches to reflect upon the flag.
As an added bonus, there is a nice park area with a pond next to the flag. An information board has some literature you can read near the flag as well.
Access to the flag is easy to find. They have an entrance on the north side of Taylor Drive.
