Prices are competitive, staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, and the quality of the tailoring is top notch. My son needed his suit altered for homecoming, the tailor made suggestions and delivered on what he promised. The alterations were done on time and to perfection, he made an old suit look brand new and custom made. Parking is a little weird but on my second trip I found the back parking lot which was much bigger and helpful during busy times. I wouldn’t hesitate to go here for any menswear or tailoring needs!

Poor customer service from the older aged tailor ( who may have actually been the owner) ! Called them ahead of time the day of to confirm shortening the length of two suit pants for my son's for homecoming. As my boys had their pants on for sizing, the tailor became rude when he realized the pants he was sizing were not purchased there and that I shouldn't expect anything to be done soon (I asked for them to be done within a 4 day time frame in which the person I spoke to on the phone was ok with). I bit my tongue and didn't snap back (as much as I should have).. One of my boys even asked if the jacket could be tightened a little and the tailor again rudely said "that's not gonna happen because I didn't buy the suits from there". He was even rude overhearing him telling the customer he took to the check out desk that I had some nerve bringing in another suit amd expecting something from him. Checking out with the young gentleman at the register, I was asked when I wanted them back and he replied, no problem, simple job (in which it was). Picked up the pants at the counter within the time frame promised and who gets to give me the pants, the tailor himself. Not a thank you, not a try them on to make sure they fit right, not a hey come back and shop with us for your suits in the future. Just handed us the hanger like he was holding a trash bag and turned around. I had my boys try on the pants in the shop and they were hemmed too short (blame the tailor for not taking a minute longer to make sure the pants were sitting correct around the waist). Didn't bother with a correction request needless to say. You pull in more customers with good customer service, no matter what they come in for, not treat people rudely because they didnt buy something from you when they walked in. My boys were actually going to pick out shirts, ties and suspenders from them and chose not to because of the attitude given. Definitely not a future customer and definitely not a recommendation to others. Plenty of suits and accessories to buy and tuxes to rent elsewhere without the attitude and rude...

This is the worst tailor shop in Michigan. I supposedly had my suit tailored here and it looked like it was never touched, everything fit way too long the zipper did not zip, I had to get my suit taken somewhere else and they did a better job than this place. This is the most dysfunctional and unprofessional tailor shop, the son and father both argue in front of customers. I’ve heard from Adam who does work at Milano tailor, talk badly about the customers behind their back, calling them idiots and stupid and other names. I see why so many people quit from working here, it was said from the so called owners, “We don’t know why so many people quit”, it’s obvious why they quit. When I worked here it was horrible, you are given no breaks, you are told to do a task and when you aren’t even done with that task you are expected to have a whole rack stacked and organized by size, which is 4 or 5 boxes all by yourself. You are also told you will be trained and it never happens, they expect you to learn everything on your own. You aren’t given a schedule don’t even try texting when you can come in to work bc it won’t happen, you’ll be waiting for 2 weeks without an answer back or a call back when you reach out. I wouldn’t recommend anyone in or out of high school to work here, the pay is horrible, the management is horrible, everything is horrible about this place. You won’t get paid when you are expected to get paid, you are given an excuse by Adam and you are basically working for free. They don’t learn from their errors and they aren’t sorry from the customers reviews as they say, they do not care. So if you want to waste time and get yelled at in front of customers, work here or if you want to waste over 300 dollars on a cheap horrible suit without any altercations from your suit,...

I've lived in the area just about all my life and have driven by this place thousands of times but never had needed their services until my son told me he wanted to go to Homecoming 4 days before it happened UGH....a friend of mine recommended this place to me knowing that I was short on cash for this major unexpected event...my son and I walked in there and like (friendly) velociraptors they started measuring him the moment he walked in the door LOL, it was so amazing and took such a load off of MY mind for once that I knew he was about to be taken care of by people who know and care about what their doing. They listened to what he wanted, helped him find it, I mean I just can't tell you what a relief it was to me as a Mom who has NO idea about how to shop for my "man size" son. This would've taken me 4 hours at Kohls to figure out, there would be no one to help and there would have been lots of frustration and probably tears on my end for not knowing how men's sizing works, we were in and out of Milanos in 30-40 minutes!! They took care of us, hemmed his pants, pressed everything and for the most decent price I could ever have asked for. My son even actually enjoyed the experience.
