We highly recommend Hungry Habibi for anyone looking for great authentic Mediterranean food with something on the menu for everyone. We have only been twice and look forward to getting their food in the future. And apparently so do many others, as we have never seen it slow. Although we have never sat down to eat there, whenever we have gone there to pickup an order, it’s always very clean. Additionally, the service is EXCEPTIONAL! We had ordered takeout last night, and they had accidentally put shaved beef on my wrap instead of chicken shawarma. Not only were they very kind and apologetic about it, they made a new one free of charge, AND the owner delivered it to our door personally with complimentary hummus and pita. On top of that, he would not accept our tip for delivering it to us. We weren’t expecting anything for the mistake other than possibly bringing back and exchanging it for the right wrap. I cannot recommend Hungry Habibi enough!

The two owners, Wally and Manar, are some of the kindest and most intentional people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. They eased all of my stress and concerns during what was a very challenging and time-sensitive situation for a large celebratory event. Their communication was impeccable—they were professional, friendly, dependable, and always on time.

In such short notice, they were able to cater a large order for our event! Their Mediterranean food was a highlight, and everyone who attended our event raved about it! The food was fresh, flavorful, and fragrant. From the Shawarma, Tabbouleh, to the garlic sauce, hummus, chicken wings, Beef Kefta—you name it!

I’m so thankful to have found them and their two locations. I will absolutely return for their incredible food and warm hospitality whether it be for personal dining or catering. We are so happy we found Hungry Habibi—I cannot thank them enough for everything they did!

Across 2020-2022 I worked at a place in Farmington Hills, didn't treat my coworkers and I well. There was this fantastic shawarma place there that was my weekly escape from it all. I've left that job and living in Macomb I've struggled to replace that place. Hungry Habibi has done the job though. Fantastic food, and it's just like getting lunch back in Farmington, if not better. If I may make a recommendation: Do a couple custom shawarmas across your visit, try a few things. The workers there are happy to make suggestions for you and surprise you with the varieties of sauces and spreads they have available. One time they even offered me a little treat to sample while I was waiting, never had one before but it was delicious! (Turned out it was a grape leaf roll) Staff are always relaxed and comfortable with you and trust you, they're always on top of orders.
