Majik Rent To Own — Local services in Shenandoah

Ok, I read a few other reviews here, and I can't imagine what some of these people are thinking... Here's my experience: A week or so ago, my washer died. About 2 months prior to that, my dryer had died, but I made it work by washing my laundry at home and taking it to dry at a laundromat. Not too pricey, but obnoxious. Once the washer dried, I realized it would be substantially more expensive to do wash & dry at the laundromat, so I googled... And decided there was no way I wanted to diy a repair on my ancient washer... My only choice was going rent to own... Which I wasn't too thrilled with. See, I had a cruddy experience in the past from a really well known place.

Anyways, I started making calls. The well known place? Way over my budget, couldn't work with me on pricing, basically hung up on me. The other place? Nope. Rude, obviously charging less online and couldn't deliver for a week minimum.

My fiance suggested I call Lightning - his mom had used them, and he knew they were more reasonable. I won't lie. I was burned out, so I asked him to do the calls. A while later, he lets me know the details and we decide to go in the next morning.

We walked in and Joe was awesome - he immediately knew what my fiance was talking about, helped us get a lightly used washer and dryer set in our budget range, and helped us with silly details like fishing chocolate lolly-pops out for my daughter. He's an awesome dude.

The next morning, right on schedule, Ryan and Bill showed up to make our delivery and install our new washer & dryer. They were surprisingly fast, laughed and my fiance's terrible dad pun "those look.... Handy", and even recognized the brand of shoe box I had on top of the fridge.

So far, so good. Definitely better than the other rental places in the area by a mile, and the customer...

Bill and Josh did a absolutely amazing job bringing my new entertainment center bluetooth speaker into my home setting everything up. They even went as far as moving my other heavy entertainment center stand up all the steep steps and put in my childrens room. I am beyond grateful for how they helped me. They are always helpful and respectful. I have never had a bad experience with this place I have a few items and keep getting more because of the excellent customer service I get! Bill has been to my house numerous times helping with my TVs and always willing to lend a helping hand. Josh has always been so respectful with helping and being very nice about my equipment changes. I fully recommend the Lighting rent to own if you need any electronics furniture anything you need very good...

Just wanted to shout out these awesome delivery guys at Majik Rent to Own. Josh and Phil were awesome. Very professional and made a difficult delivery of my sectional look effortless. No damage with the narrow doorway. Very thoughtful not to even cause it the slightest blemish. Very detailed going over the contract. Made sure any questions I had were answered and what the expectations were from initial rental to the end to ownership. Just awesome fun humorous guys. The whole group at the Shenandoah store seemed down to Earth. Karen on the call back was down to earth and very personable. Highly recommend. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks again guys. Highly appreciate and look forward to seeing you all for more rentals as soon as this one...
