I want to preface my reveiw with the understanding that Dukes needs to redirect shipping to someone that can deliver their great products(you deserved a 5-star if it weren't for your shipping choice). My scope and mounts went by my home 4 or 5 times on a priority 2-day mail, ordered on the 10th delivered on the 16th. Again, this isn't my only experience with the USPS and "PRIORITY" packages. Still waiting on an overnight I ordered a week ago from another vendor. But back to Duke's awesome Vortex burnt bronze scope and Leopold mounts to match(very pleased), disappointed in their choice of carriers here's my tracking sheet you decide which of the 4 or 5 times (as my anticipation built like a 5-year-old on his birthday) it went past my home in Battle Creek they could have been kind enough to stop and drop it off during the week+ long trip back and forth between GR, BC, RICHLAND AND KALAMAZOO, each time they had to go by my home.

Mike said they could remove old scope mount and bore sight my scope on rifle and even replace missing rear iron sight. He even talked to gunsmith while we were on phone. I get there start filling out paperwork he comes over and tells me they can't do it and I need to come back to pick it up another day. Unreal. Total 180 from phone call. I wasted my whole evening driving and left disappointed. I am sure nothing will be done about this. So much for supporting small business.

I would accept your explanation but your own associate who was helping me instead of Mike told me (Mike ) could of mounted my scope and boresighted it. Let's be honest with each other. Your associates chose not to take the time to honor what they stated they would do for me over the phone. Mike knew well I was coming from over 45 minutes away each way to complete this purchase. I also find it hard to believe that out of 6 employees you only have one who can mount a scope and boresight it in. I have been going to your store for close to 16 years. Never been treated so poorly. My deepest condolences for your gunsmiths loss. There is an old saying "The truth will set you free". The truth is your associate took the easiest option instead of honoring their word. It would have taken like 20 to 30 minutes to switch out a scope, boresight it with a laser and add rear iron sight. I had been looking for Kimber’s New 2K11 2011 Double Stack in 9mm with the bronze slide. I had looked at every site I could think of. Even Gun Broker. They were out of stock or the prices were so high $300-$500 over MSRP because that particular handgun was in high demand. Finally at 2:30 in the morning I ran across Duke’s. They had the handgun I wanted in Stock. I bet I read their posting of the Kimber 20 times because there price was fair it was what Kimber said MSRP should be. Again I was surprised and ecstatic that I had found the Kimber I was looking for. I purchased it immediately. The next day I went to my FFL to have them send the info that Duke’s required to ship it. I had to call Duke’s to let them know that the FFL needed them to inquire about the info they needed to ship it. The lady I spoke with from Duke’s said, that they had already talked to my FFL, got the info they needed and the firearm had already been shipped out the door. I was Amazed. Very Impressive.
