I only give this particular location two stars due to the fact that one individual who works here had poor customer service.
Let me explain why..
I was greeted kindly by this gentlemen when I first walked in and my fiancé and 6 year old stepson came into the store with me - I've been working on finding a brake sensor switch bolt and I knew what size and exactly what I was looking for.. The gentlemen asked if we needed help as he recognized my fiance from earlier who came here trying to find it for me while I was at work. My fiance responded that we were still looking for this bolt or something temporary in the meantime (I had ordered the bolt prior to, but it wasn't going to arrive until later this month). I informed the young man that we just wanted to look around and see what we could find, if anything. But he ignored me, scoffed at what I said, and continued to address my fiancé. So I went on my way and kept looking, slightly annoyed by his reaction, but I let it go. As my fiancé kept trying to walk away from this man and he himself let him know we just wanted to look around, and for some other odds and ends (windshield wipers), this young man persisted. I looped an isle to find this young man as he was there looking for our bolt and kept repeating out loud that they don't have it. I kindly reassured him that it's okay, we understand, we're also looking for other things.. Again, he scoffed aggressively while not even acknowledging me or looking in my direction, yet i stood 2 feet from him looking at car scents, and then presumed to try and speak to my fiancé who was down another isle looking for his own stuff.
At this point, we were all over this experience, and that he continued to treat me as he was. My fiancé met me down the isle I was in and told me, "we're leaving".
I know this may not sound like much, or if you wonder, how was he treated, because that could be the reason - well let me reassure you that we spoke kind, and soft spoken words and A Lot of patience to him.
He basically gave us the feeling - you're a girl and you don't know squat, so I'll speak to the man who does.
It's unfortunate if this is the case, to be subjected to a low like that, because I'm female. Trust me sir, I've been working on machinery, and rigs my whole life. I'm the mechanic in this family, not my fiance who only knows the basics. I sure hope when he gets older that he meets a girl who shows him a thing or two...
Read moreI needed longer jumper cables, and in Sheridan there is a NAPA. We walk in NAPA and asked for jumper cables. The guy behind the counter says "the only jumper cables we have are $200". I thought he was making a joke at first. Their 20 foot cables were indeed $200, clearly marked.
I asked if they had any more, and they weren't sure, so I walked around the corner and they had a 10 foot cables for $75. Utterly ridiculous. We immediately left.
I called O'Reillys and the said they had cables starting at $29. Much more reasonable. When we arrive at O'Reillys, the guy shows us his most expensive cables, the EXACT SAME ONES that NAPA had for 200. At O'Reillys, they were o ly 60 dollars... I honestly don't know how NAPA in Sheridan stays open ripping people off like that.

Read moreThis location in Sheridan has been great, always trying their best to be helpful. They even did research over night on their own time trying to help me find an impossible part. They did in fact find me a part and it works (even the dealer couldn't find it). I'm now on first name based with...
