We were looking for a place that would be a perfect distance for us, on our way to camping at Flag Ranch in the Tetons. Cross Roads RV Park, in Shoshoni, was perfect for a bunch of reasons. I could tell from the site map that I could pull in, and not need to unhitch from my Montana High County Fifth Wheel trailer, because the spaces were more than long enough! This was a big factor for us, because I have stayed at other places where there just isn't enough room, and unhitching - then inevitably the re-hitching before leaving - consumes unwanted time. Also the space provided for us was very relaxing and comforting after a long drive, due to the grass and landscaping. We got in and relaxed and even had time to setup a small Weber grill we brought along - used their provided fire ring for safety with the grill too. The hookups were great, didn't have to do anything difficult. Whereas ironically, up at the Tetons, the very next day at Flag Ranch, the Flag Ranch sewer connection was almost 18 inches above ground, my goodness! It was so nice to have an easy ground level connection at Cross Roads RV park, by contrast. Lets face it, sewer flows best when going downhill, as any experienced RV user would know. After our stay up in the Tetons, we came back to Cross Roads RV Park and stayed another night. It was very restful for us. I highly recommend this for anyone going in that direction. I also met Tim in person on our first night's stay, you will like him as well! sincerely...
Read moreWe were traveling on Highway 20 West in Wyoming and had trouble with our tow vehicle. After sitting along the highway for 5 hours we were towed to Crossroads RV Park in Shoshoni. We ended up staying for 9 days while we got our situation sorted. Tim, the owner, was very very nice and helpful throughout our ordeal. The park is clean and well kept with full hookups. The trees are still on the small side, but provied alittle shade to sit under. There's a dumpster for use on the way out. No laundry or showers, but that wasn't an issue with us. We were in a pull-through facing west and had no issues at all. We would definately...
Read moreWe stayed here one night on our way to Cody. Brand new, immaculate RV park with easy access off Rt 20. Sites are roomy with gravel and beautiful grassy lawn area for each site. We had a pull thru FHU with a patio and fire pit. Site was long enough for our fifth wheel and truck of total 60 ft with plenty of room to spare. Plantings of small trees around so for now full sun. Within walking distance to town and nearby lakes and river. Mike was friendly and accommodating when I needed to change my reservation. I...
