THEY WILL SCAM YOU. I talked to an employee named ceejay of lifestyle apartment in lakeshore drive for couple of days in phone. I travelled from Dallas to Shreveport to check out the apartment. I inquired about the application process with him. He told me that they need paystub for application. I specifically mentioned him that I do not have any paystub since that was my first job. He told me that offer letter would work for the application and he didn’t need paystub. After that confirmation, I applied the application. And later I get the phone call that the offer letter doesn't work, I must submit paystub. I had mentioned him specifically before that I would not have any paystub while I will fill out the application, yet he ensured ne multiple times that offer letter will work. As an employee working for the company, he knew that the offer letter wouldn’t work and still he encouraged me that offer letter will work and told me to fill out the application just so that they can scam the application fee. They already knew that the offer wont work and yet they manipulated me saying that offer letter works and they don’t need paystub. This way they scam the application fee with many people like me. One person is dead and two others were injured in a shooting at The Life Style Apartments complex in Shreveport Louisiana on Saturday night on June 28, 2025.

The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office identified the person killed as Zauntravious Davis, 23 years old on Sunday night. The coroner says Davis was taken to the hospital after being shot, where he died at 9:07 p.m. An autopsy was ordered.

The shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. Saturday night in the 4200 block of Lakeshore Drive at the Lifestyle Apartments.

A 2-year-old female also sustained a gunshot wound to the lower leg, while a 15-year-old male was grazed, according to SPD officials.

Went through application process for lakeshore. Paid 400$ deposit for a 2 bed 2 bath. Scheduled around my work schedule. Move in time come, apartment not ready. Still had to move due to end of lease and work schedule. Ended up staying in hotels. Come to view about a week later. Apartment still not ready and it's a 2 bed 1 bath. Have spent so much money on hotels didn't have the funds to move in. And now they're saying it's my fault and I don't get my deposit refunded back. I don't want to move in at all now just want my refund of the 400. Hopefully the owner will read this and work...
