Fort Huachuca — Local services in Sierra Vista

Lots of history. Really nice clean base. Lots of places to explore. Their are a lot of wild animals that are really cool too. Deer, turkeys, javelina, you can almost count of seeing something at least once a week. The views are beautiful and just taking a drive through is an experience. Absurd security. Had to give a rentacop at the entrance booth my DL ( he was afraid I might flee), just so I could then leave and go to a security building to get entrance passes. That guy wanted ID and my social security number. I declined to give my SS# so we were turned away. Forced to drive through security line again to leave. Lovely place. On post and in Sierra vista there is not traffic at all. Quiet place. Always a great view. Lovely sunsets. Close to great vineyards and an hour and a half away from the city of Tucson.
