AT&T Store — Local services in Sioux Center

Destiny was unbelievable! We are from out of state and needed to replace our phones. Her store was the closest store front to us so we chose her store. There were 3 of of us and we had a lot of issues to sort through. Destiny was incredibly patient and answered all of our questions as well as helping a new employee. While we were there many customers arrived and wanted help with various issues. Destiny and her co-worker were kind to all the patrons and helped each one as quick as they could.

Our plan required us to surrender our old phones but our son's was going to take 13 hours to transfer the info to his new phone. Destiny went above and beyond any expectations by setting up a time for her to come by where we were staying (she happened to live in that town) 2 days later to allow us to transfer all the info from our old phones to our new ones. She even spent time helping us with questions that had arisen since we left the store. What a wonderful convenience for us! How is that for personal service!

I showed up to the store in Sioux Center at 10:30am the other day just to get a new phone. I had 2 ladies help me while I was there and they did fine helping me but it was taking forever to transfer contacts and photos etc. so finally at 1pm (already waiting for 2.5 hrs) they told me to leave and come back at 2pm and someone else would be working here to help me. So I did just that. When I got back to the store at 2 there was a sign on the door that said “out for lunch. Be back at 2:30pm” so I waited in my car til 2:30 then got out and the door was still locked so I waited outside until 3pm and still no one showed up (there was also a bunch of other people waiting outside the door like I was at this point!!) I was sick of waiting so I left and came back at 4pm and STILL no one was there. I then walked to Dairy Queen and talked to one of their cashiers snd shared what was going on and she and I tried calling AT&T to try figure out what was going on but nobody was being helpful and we got hung up 4 times!!!! FINALLY, at 6pm the guy who was suppose to be there working at 2:30 showed up and I was able to get my new phone. I waited nearly 8 hours!!!...

Stopped into this location with questions about switching to at&t for their first net services because I just became aware this service was available for wind turbine technicians. While I was waiting to be helped, I overheard the worker complaining about having to work a lot alone a lot since taking over as the new store manager. While waiting to be seen, I became just as annoyed as the worker with the store phone ringing as she did due to her not answering it.

After a bit of waiting I decided I would stay with my current provider because I don’t feel this was acceptable service to give to give to her customer she was helping, to the customer waiting, and to the person who was trying to call the...
