Slater Municipal Pool — Local services in Slater

I very much dislike this pool. The staff is rude, but I will give them the benefit that they were high schoolers and nobody likes to work the weekend like that I'm sure. Minus the one guy that was probably the head "supervisor". It was our first time going to this particular pool so I looked online about the rules, hours, and fees just because it was our first time here and I'm a mom and wanted to bring some floaties or toys for my three-year-old son. Well no where online does it state that you cannot bring a pool noodle or any flotation devices even ones for on my kid's arm. So we went out and bought some pool toys to have fun, we get to the pool and the one gal again rudely says that no flotation devices are allowed. So I asked her why it doesn't state that online because we're new to the pool and the only answer she had for me was we have pool rules here and some thing about the city made a vote on it so it must have been just recent change. Regardless any and all rules should be online cuz it throws you off and puts us in a off mood and of course my three-year-old through quite the fit. Also the concession on a Saturday and Sunday closes at 4 and that seems a little ridiculous to me as well. Don't bother with swimming lessons... if they can even be called that. Your child isn't going to leave knowing how to swim. Have watched the kids play a game for 20 minutes before being "taught" where the instructor then pays very little attention. Instructors like to show off of the diving board than actually taking time to teach their class. Looking around at all the levels being taught no teaching is being done.
