Farmers Service Company — Local services in Smithfield

Very simply put I bought chainsaw here so I took it in for service when the automatic chain oiler didn't appear to be working in March. I returned it twice since because I haven't been able to get it started, first time I was told they had to replace the carberator because I was mixing the gas wrong and sold me premixed gas for $30 per gallon. Second time I was told the same thing. Not sure what's up but either Stihl make a lousy chainsaw or Farmers services Ace is not the greatest small engine repair shop around Either way I've got a chainsaw that won't start a $30 gallon of gas and a tree that needs to be cut, I guess I'll either buy a new saw or rent one, but I don't think this expenditure will involve Farmers services Ace in Smithfield VA.

Talk is cheap and it's easy to see that's all you have. It took you over a month to reply. But at least your response matches your craftsmanship, slow and ineffective. Good luck, but you won't be...

Mixed feelings. Usually, the folks are very friendly and eager to help however; you do not want to go in close to closing (we walked in 5 min before closing, granted I know staff are closing up but we knew exactly what we needed and rushed to get there) and the 6 staff standing around waiting on the cashier to finish count didn't acknowledge us or speak at all, we even tried to make a joke as we rushed to see if the product was still there but didn't even get a look. As we walked out without speaking to them either, we just got pretty nasty looks like we were wrong for trying to catch them before closing. Not the best customer service attitude.

Otherwise, the products are really good and reliable. The price is right and the chicken/duck sale is pretty cool. We will still shop with them but we did go get our product...

First off this business is an ACE HARDWARE STORE as well. After doing some online shopping search, I needed special help ordering an Amtrol Tank. Kristy was so detail specific to make sure that the proper tank was ordered for me. I was promptly notified by text and a phone call when the tank arrived. When I went to the store to pick up the tank every one there was so helpful especially the people on the loading dock. While I was there in the store I noticed that the store had one of the best hardware assortments that I have seen anywhere. I highly recommend...
