This is hard for me to give this rating, because they're extremely nice at this location. But, that's one of the core values for working for Dollar General stores. However, you need to know your job too, especially if your in charge. The Manager should know the in and outs of merchandise, sales, staff training, and etcetera. I'm a Veteran who served for 22 years, and today was a 20% sale for 3 days...which I didn't get after spending over $100.00! The excuse was didn't have the barcode for the sale, and the Manager stated she doesn't know how to give the discount without a barcode. Another problem is there are other Military Veteran living here in town. So, they're not going to get the discount too?! This is not the first incident the Manager didn't know, and didn't care enough to get an answer. This is unacceptable. Especially, when I repeatedly suggested 3 times to contact someone like the District Manager, or even Headquarters. The nonchalant attitude afterwards was extremely disturbing.
